- Kreepy Krauly GW9500 pool cleaner stopped working like it used to. After trouble shooting it seemed to be the skirt. This video will show you how to change the skirt and get it running correctly again.
Great video! I got the new skirt from Amazon and followed your tips. Once I had removed the 6 screws, I was able to put the new skirt one by carefully using a screw driver to hook the tabs onto the small notches. Had to do it like this because I couldn't get the tabs to move and didn't want to break them. Done in about 5 minutes! Thanks!
Just an FYI. You do not have to to remove the over the drive shaft (aka the tabs on the bottom don't need to be messed with). Just turn the hose adapter a quarter turn and it comes off. Then the whole internal mechanism comes out without issues. Thanks for the video.
I changed the skirt my pool is square bottom it goes up to the wall and stops and sits there doesn't turn around it use to turn and go off the wall it never spins either anymore. Everything else is working. All gears are good. I havent figured it out yet. I can say its been the best cleaner I ever owned up till now. About 4 years old never a problem. Im gonna check the lift brush

How long did you use it before the first skirt broke and had to be replaced? Do you still like it?
Oscillator keeps getting stuck, after changing oscillator kit, works well a few moments then it gets stuck. Any help would be appreciated
My original vacuum skirt last about 8 months. I bought one on Amazon that lasted 2 cleans then just bought one at my pool supplier pinch a penny and it's broken after one cleaning. What am I doing wrong? Chlorine is not high, maybe too much suction? Help please these things aren't cheap
