I have made a habit, when working on anything, to take a bunch of photo before, and while I am working on anything. It helps stop things like forgetting the spacer. Not just cars, construction, etc. helpful at the store, or asking for help. Just covers a bunch of DIY sins and problems. 😆
I had an old Nissan truck that wasn't running well. The timing chain had skipped a tooth because the chain tensioner had come unbolted. Did the kit replacement and it ran great!
It can be difficult. I think it just depends on the part. There's a lot of aftermarket support for the Samauri, it has a pretty huge enthusiast following.
@@offroadhub.official I see a lot of Samurai owners who modify the heck out of the car. I think the car is so simple that might be easy, but I live in California so modifying is really difficult when it comes to the smog issue.
Awesome man, I have a 2012 FJ Trail Teams and a 1995 Geo Tracker. Love the vids, been working on my tracker and learning too.
The trackick platform is pretty cool!
Excellent video! Thank you 😊 Just wanted a sneak preview for what I'm getting into. Love the little pointers, exactly what I needed. Cheers 🩷
Have fun! It's pretty straight forward. 👍
Thanks Ken, I never had the case off.
Not your typical Ken video, but still good stuff. Thanks for the info.
Yeah, some shop work. 👍

Absolutely! I do that sometimes myself!

I’m so glad you didn’t get to 88mph.
@biopsiesbeanieboos55 that would be a long shot for sure... 😄
Wow! Hope the owner is able to use this video to get their money back.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing the experience. I own the same vehicle. Lots of fun. Why is the coolant temperature so low during the speed test?
@carlosdingevan801 Thanks! The thermostat was sticking open. Always something...
@@offroadhub.official yeah, right? Ha, ha.
Hey Ken!!! 🍻
There was a moment in the video just for you. 😂
Dammit! I missed it and I watched the whole video!
Is the crank pulley bolt reverse thread? How did you manage to remove it?
@@christianhaab1 it is not reverse thread. I was able to get my Milwaukee impact on it.
They need a new coolant temperature sensor too. It's nice to know if the engine is overheating.
One thing at a time! 😄
No update on the FJ ?? The suspense is to much.
It's coming... 😉
I knew a guy who owned a transmission shop. He warned me not to buy a Suzuki Samurai because parts are almost impossible to find.
