Thank you so much Tom. I've been trading the ES, but I think I will try your 30 trade challenge with your technique on the MES. That way I will still have skin in the game but the risk will greatly reduced. If this sets my head straight and refines my trading I'll get back to the ES. Many mahalos from Hawaii.
Aloha Puna Surf, I had the pleasure to visit Honolulu a few years ago. No matter what system or strategy you try to implement in your trading. The 30 trade challenge will do you good. So often people try something new.. have 2-3 losses and go on the hunt for the next great thing. Often it's not the system that is wrong but the person executing the system.

Thanks for the vids Tom. i havnt actually watched this one, but is the most current so thought i'd say thanks. Just jumped from 2019 video you did about view on heiken ashi. I also watched a good talk you did in the UK i think, was like 7 parter here on the tube, but a great watch for me. It confirmed a lot of things & how my direction to trading in some regards is inline although different to someone successful at it like yourself. Watching your vid.. Scalping Stock Indices from april last year. Looks almost identical to me scalping on AMPfutures but using heiken ashi candles haha. Although ive not mustered the balls or pot size yet to back my winners how you do & hold them as long as you, im very consistently making & building on a very modest veering on suicidal starting pot for that style of leverage product.

Can reverse divergence be used on a 5 minute chart? I watched it play out beautifully today, twice, and just wanted to make sure I was looking at it correctly.

I've been looking at a similar strategy (added in regular divergence together with hidden/reverse divergence) but only on the daily candle asI have a full time job. The daily candle/swing trading will only work for me until my circumstances change.
Can this this strategy work on a daily time frame?

Sorry I am a beginner so I didn't quite understand the strategy.
Here is what i understood please correct me if i am wrong!
So we have to check 89 MA first and then it will show where the trend is then we have to look at oscillator if we are looking that MA is in downward direction we need to wait for oscillator to be on top?
and when the MA is showing us uptrend we have to wait for oscillator to be on the bottom and curving towards upward to take the position?
no reason to say sorry. You just need more hours of homework than old times need.
Hey Tom, thanks for this. One question: 14-3-3 doesn't seem to apply for Stochastic settings on ThinkorSwim. The default is K Period: 10, D period: 10, Slowing Period: 3. Which settings correspond with your 14-3-3? I'd like to try your settings. (Is the order the same?)
The video series is 9 years old. Tom doesn't use indicators anymore just a naked chart.

The default settings are 5, 3, 3. Other commonly used settings for Stochastics include 14, 3, 3 and 21, 5, 5. Stochastics is often referred to as Fast Stochastics with a setting of 5, 4, Slow Stochastics with a setting of 14, 3 and Full Stochastics with the settings of 14, 3, 3.
So it seems there are a lot of default settings ;-) - Tom used 14-3-3

I went through all the chapters. It would be helpful, if you tell about when to exit the trade for the strategy discussed in the chapter.

I know you said this for Forex but Does this strategy apply to stocks on Nasdaq and NYSE ?
Any market its only technical indicators he has studied hard you do the same you will crack it
It applies to any market ... or any liquid markets. Please do not use these on penny stocks.

Tom hasn't traded that way for years. But it should work the same way for all liquid markets.

Yes, it is RSI. Be aware that the video course is 13 years old or so.

3:14 He states that he will enter a trade sometimes going down to a 15 or 5 minute chart with a 30 to 40 pip stop loss and the trades last from 20-30 minutes on average. That sure seems like an awful big move in a very short period of time to get a trade that's even close to 2-1. It would have to move 60-80 pips in 20-30 minutes. Also, if I was in a trade using a 15 or 5 minute entry, I'd know my setup failed way before it went 30-40 pips against me.
Hmmm, 10-year-old content... much has changed besides the mental parts.
@@MindsetMojoHacks I've been trading FX since 08 and unless your trading during news events, the average impulsive move during 20 to 30 minutes has been and still is 30 pips, at best, for the usual FX pairs traded. It's simple to check it...just choose any major, use a 30 minute chart and look at the candles going back as far as you can. The 30 minute impulsive candles rarely exceed 30-40 pips, let alone 60-80 you'd need for at least a 1-2 risk/reward. Not to be picky or argumentative, just trying to figure this out. Thanks!
Just compare the statements made in this video and other latest videos, you will get to know the reality...
Great vid, but, if u check his latest trading psichology interview, he was saying: WHY WOULD I WANT TO RISK 1% PER DAY IF I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH 10.000£...Here, says that he keps the 1% risk under control.. WTF?🤔🤔🤔 guys, please check it out! Or the video is so old since 20y ago maybe😂😂😂
