I have a question white people don't have heritage month because that would be considered racist for white people to be proud of their ancestors but Arab people's ancestors started racism and slavery so how is it not racist for Arab people to have heritage month when their people started racism in slavery I don't understand that. White people were the very first people to end slavery and the very last people to ever be racist white people were corrupted by racism in slavery but God forbid if we have heritage month that's racist. I am half-filipino and half Irish and I'm 17 and i love culture's and foods.
the first rule about the arab/Muslim culture in the UA-cam comment section, is your not allowed to say things about the Arab/Muslim culture in the UA-cam comment section.
It gets automatically deleted
How can anyone put Hoda Kotb on a list of people they are proud of?
lol :) :)
No We Don't
I completely agree I'm partially Arab but it definitely needs to be an Arab heritage month. Other nationalities have their month to celebrate their culture. I believe Arab is more of a culture than a race. That's just my opinion. Cause we come in all colors.
it dont need
not all colors
Good luck with that.. Lol
Quite sad how ALL of these people are trying to get credit for things they had ZERO contribution for. Stop trying to get attention for no reason, it's sad.
Go ahead don’t expect me to bust out the hummus
I have a question white people don't have heritage month because that would be considered racist for white people to be proud of their ancestors but Arab people's ancestors started racism and slavery so how is it not racist for Arab people to have heritage month when their people started racism in slavery I don't understand that. White people were the very first people to end slavery and the very last people to ever be racist white people were corrupted by racism in slavery but God forbid if we have heritage month that's racist. Black people stared the slave trayed and they have a black history month. I come from a mixed-race family and I was always told that because I'm white it's racist to be proud of my ancestors and my heritage.
Some Latinos , Sicilians have Arab heritage and do not know it, believe southern Spain Andalusia is an Arab territory from many century past.
Sicilians weren't Arabs
Only southern spain
I knew that girl is Egyptian just by looking at her face. Does she actually think she’s genetically Arab?😂😭
We don’t need Arab day we got more important things to care about
No
The (blank) heritage month and (blank) history month shouldn't be a thing because everyday is history and heritage month. We are all equal people and it's nice to see and hear people's culture and religion on daily bases or something like that. Hanging out with people and getting to know them is the greatest thing ever.
When I was learning how to speak Arabic I was taught the word "habid" (A beed) means black. I am a black man. I found out later habid means slave. Let's celebrate 🍾 🎆
@mkeufish but do they sell slaves on Facebook marketplace?
Arab American Heritage Month
As of 2003, an average of 45% of married couples were related in the Arab world.[4]
Wow another month for a heritage that we don't need, just appreciate the stuff that you like from other cultures all the time instead of making a month about it. Nobody needs a month because it doesn't affect anything at all
as a yemeni arab I strongly agree with you brother.
funny username tho 😂
I wish one day I can become like Zaha Hadid ❤️ 🤍 ☪️ⵣ 🖤 💚
I think this is a great idea ! I’m sure we will all have a blast !
Lets all celebrate the culture that kill womans for the stupidest reasons and think child marriage is morally good.
Is it in September?
Somali’s, Sudanese, Djbouti’s, Moroccans and any other black African nations are not Arabs. Just because some of their population speak some sort of altered Arabic does not make them Arabs, just as someone who’s origin is from a Black African country where French is spoken doesn’t make them French
They don’t speak French as native language but Morocco and Sudan speaks Arabic as native language there is difference. This video is telling about Arabic speaking countries like just hispanic countries are not all spanish(Spain)
Pretty sure they have like 0.1-35 arab blood plus there is Arab tribes that immagrated to north africa long time ago so yea techinally they are arabs
Accidental - No
Shehzad Chowdhury - Wrong
@@AussieGirl235 how a no like Bani Ka3b tribe in lybia are Arabs like there is arabs tribes in all north africa and you cant deny that i mean doesnt make sense for north africa to speak arabic while Turkey and iran dont like arabs controled the land for 8 centuries plus who care about race their identities are arabs bc the same language same culture and most of them muslims so what is your problem?
We are all equal !
We don’t need any month. Can people just learn to live their lives?
also you have to differentiate between Original Arabs :The people of the desert regions of the arabian peninsula Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
(2) Arabized people groups : Levantic people groups such as Syrians, Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraq, Lebanese and so forth. These people groups originally had their own languages, until the Arab invasion of their lands and with Islamization, they became Arabized gradually by adopting Arabic . But are genetically different
There culture is not Arabians
Thats like saying isis month
the horses are SO beautiful 🥰
No one cares what religion, culture, heritage or creed you are. Be kind and do your best, stop trying to get noticed for nothing, it's sad.
Unfortunately being kind and doing their best is not enough in this Islamophobic world. Too much hate being turned their way. It's sad you don't understand.
Yes!!!
I was thinking the same thing why there's no middle eastern or Arab heritage month. Hey again why there's no white heritage month too.
Persian Heritage Month
All peoples are great ❤
Omg Somalia! That's interesting
lamine428 not true. We don’t even speak the language
Actually no
People are dying . This is not the time for heritage
How do you integrate american and arab cultures?
You make deep fried falafel burgers with a side of homophobia.
@@arturomartinez462 not every arab is homophobic nor are they Islamic-
Have my support. This *is* America. A blend of everything for the better.
I know Iranians are not Arabs but they do have features that look Arabic, right?
they are middle eastern they have middle eastern features that are similar to middle eastern features of arabs
@@joellenour middle eastern is not an appropriate term for me. I prefer West Asian which is what most of us Arabs excluding North African Arabs and Persians are .
Some Iranians look steppe mixed
Most are middle eastern
Where is dizaster at!?
Why has there never been a European heritage month? Just think of everything we got from them! But nope ... Pretty soon we'll have heritage month for almost all minorities here, and we'll still totally ignore the majority of the population. Yeah ... That makes sense!!
You’re joking right ? 🤦🏽♂️
@@firasharb1454 Why? Because the myth of white privilege tells you that we already get enough recognition. There are hundreds of minority groups JUST for minorities but a white person dares not join an all white group. Why shouldn't everyone get recognition ... IF people really want equality. But that's not it, that's not what they want. They want us to be the group under everyone's thumb.
Equality will NEVER be achieved until EVERYONE is really treated equally! If an all white group is racist, then an all black, all hispanic, etc. group is equally racist. THAT'S equality!!
Omg..... Smdh.......
Palestinians in Alabama! Not ok!
😂
what do u mean??
@@joellenour zionist, probably
You are going to find most Americans don’t care! The only thing they are none for is the goat they call a horse!
I think 1 month is too long maybe a week which we can call Arabian Nights
No need
no u dont have one.
How about we get through the Covid situation first.
No, we don’t.
4 million isn't a lot
No no no..no no no no no no...no no. No no no no no no no.
Jesus was an Arab black man, so I think this should be accepted in Christian countries.
everyone commenting is trolling.
So you too, right? :d
@@enemy1191 nah, my comments on here are sincere
Look, i get what your trying to do. Unfortunately RIGHT NOW this world is trying to hold on to its artificial way of life. Everything is lowly falling apart and your worries are not the main concern right now. Im sorry if i sound like in offending ANYONE. NOT my intentions. But you as a mature responsible adult should now that in order for your agenda to work you need a society to put it in. RIGHT NOW IS NOT THE TIME. and again I truly do apologize for the reality check. Love yall GOD bless.
“Even in 2020 people still don’t know what it means to be Arab” says something who thinks North and East Africans are Arabs HAHAHAHAHA😂😂😂 Guess what, I’m Moroccan and I’m no Arab nor do I speak Arabic. Try again.
Johnny 5 is alive?
