I really enjoyed the show unfortunately I’m very unhappy with ending… too many times good shows have fairytale endings. I was hoping for something like we were watching the wrong jason prime the whole time or something we all couldn’t comprehend because we’re not supposed to understand the fifth dimension. Idk 🤷🏽♂️ All in all, I guess it was a great show because it’s the first time they tapped into this type of story time, but I just wanted more. If they do do a second season, I hope they explain some more of the science of the box and their understanding of the fifth dimension 🚛🫡
I hear you in that a lot of shows feel like they give a fairy tale ending. It feels like they took the easy route. I'm curious what they could do with a season 2 because the Jason she chose didn't have the nose scar we'd gotten used to seeing. There's a infinite number of possibilities on there direction of this show from here

I have to say, I thought the finale was way too slow and lethargic, with the family acting like they were on a relaxing vacation instead of on the run from an army of Jasons. There was no way the ending should be this neat and tidy. How can Daniela be so sure this is her Jason, knowing that he split off an infinite number of times after his kidnapping? I'd like to see them address the complexity of the situation in a Season 2. Charlie and Daniela weren't trained in how to navigate the box - Amanda said it takes a great deal of psychological preparation, and we saw how much trouble she and Jason Prime had without that, bringing them to all those messed up universes. Surely this would also be the case for his wife and especially for a kid. Making matters worse, it needs to be a universe where their counterparts existed but have since died. They could easily build another season out of their journey through the multiverse because there's no way they'd be lucky enough to get it right on the first try.

everytime you make a decision, you spawn another reality. And so there is another reality where Jason and his family stay and try to work it out, and one where the Jasons just go hunger games on him.

I thought the title, entanglement, also shows that Jason 1 and his family are entangled in the quantum realm. Like Jason 2 says in the recording, they fit together perfectly like a puzzle. I loved the ending, it was perfectly done. It leaves it open for another season but tied up the loose ends by showing us Blair, Amanda, Ryan and Layton. I really didn’t know how they would finish the season but it exceeded expectations for me!
That's a really good point @rachelvoiles9699 about the family being a perfect fit. I wouldn't mind a second season if there's a planned ending and would like to see where they take the story with the Blaire's, Amanda, and Leighton's. I may have missed it but I'm still trying to figure out why Blaire-Prime helped Jason-2 🤔

Ive not read the books but i was concerned with last weeks revelation of 'multiple Jasons....from a writing perspective there is only 1 logical way to resolve this situation and we got that ending... i was hoping for some sort of unseen twist or at least a tease as to HOW Jason 2 could travel between dimensions with what seems relative ease......oh well 3/4 months til new From!!
If all the Jason variants that we see were spawned whenever Jason Prime used the box, shouldn't they 1. All have had the same scar on their nose, because he got that before ever going into the box? 2. All have had the elastic band on their finger? (Not that all the bands would have survived the worlds they visited but some would have, surely?)
Great points - all of them should've had the scar on their noses for sure. And some should've had the same kind of elastic band on their fingers, although it probably broke for many of them and was replaced with something else. Honestly there's a lot that's wrong with the logic of this show. There should've also been other Jason 2s created by his own travels in the box, so maybe the ones without the cut on his nose were Jason 2s? The show was wrapped up way too easily and too neatly IMO. There's no way that this many Jasons could've reached an agreement so fast and let Jason Prime leave with the family. Even just traveling the multiverse, it should've taken much longer than a few episodes for him to find his way home. It also shouldn't have been so easy for him to get to Daniela first and convince her to go with him, when there are hundreds of other Jasons in this world. Then Daniela and Charlie were so chill about it and acting like they were on vacation at the beach house in the finale.
@@thespiralquirk Right! Honestly there's really no way for us or for the characters to ever be totally sure that the Jupiter Jason is the original we followed from the beginning. It could just as easily have been one of the Jasons in the car accident. That's the mindfuck of it all, and why I don't understand how easily Daniela and Charlie just accept this is their Jason without questioning it more. All of the Jasons who stemmed from the kidnapping by J2 have the exact same set of memories of their life and family here!

I think the box was how Ryan found Amanda. They probably end up in the same world, he found out the box was there before and investigated who came out of it.

He built the box and mastered how to operate within it. Basically, control your thoughts, fear of all negative thoughts and feelings, and focus on the world you desire to see. Amanda and Jason 1 eventually figured it out as well

Here’s a thought. Are we certain that variants of Daniela and Charlie won’t return to their home world possibly regretting leaving all those prime Jason variants out in the cold? They took up the entire episode holding up in the summer house only to end up going to the box. True, they didn’t have the ampules until the end, but I’m sure that the writers of this episode had plenty of time to give us the mind-bending finale we hoped for. Other than that, I’m hopeful we’ll get a season 2. I’m interested to see if there’s any closure for the variants or are they just doomed to be bums for the rest of their existence. Sure, they have about 50 million dollars in their account but really how far can that go? I’m also puzzled at how Ryan knows Amanda. Did he set up surveillance at the box in hopes that someone else would emerge? That’s my only theory on that. All in all, I rate this episode at 6.5. That’s only because I loved all the other episodes. Peace and ❤all.
You know what @stevedunlap7583 that's totally possible. I like the idea that there will be more variants spawned by this trip into the box leading us into the possibility of a season 2 that can be a very different tone and theme than season 1. What they all end up doing is anyone's guess. There are so many variables mainly because Charlie and Daniela are inexperienced in the corridor and therefore are the biggest wildcard, especially with letting Charlie choose the doors they open.
