I just came back from Perth and went to Kailis fish market and Ciao. It was a great experience! Food was great at Ciao! Thanks for the recommendations!
Hey hey, you finally managed to upload the video! It was well worth the wait. Il Ciao looks immense. Those fish wings. I want, I need....those sneaky seagulls! HAHA
If you're ever in Perth again, give us a yell, you have to try the South African food, the Mauritian food and the local Burmese food fairs. There's also a really cool little pasta joint that makes those Korean spaghetti dishes you see on the UA-cam videos. There's an Indonesian place in Northbridge worth a try too.
If ever Uncle Mark ever gives me permission to visit WA , I’ll pay a visit to that market . I’ll give the Lafing Noodles a miss though 😂. Love these foodie episodes . Keep them coming .👍
cool video bro. next time you go to that restaurant where you can't stop ordering the same dish, just go super hungry and order double (no double same dish )

Been in Perth since 84 and dined in over 1000 joints there. 20% of these chow joints are useless. 50% are Woolworth / Coles / Aldi microwaved freezer meals and the other 30% are a mixed effort of failed Ramsey wannabies. There are perhaps 10 5 star White Table chow shops in Perth and $200 only buys the table booking. Non of these plugged diners made my grade in fine dining by the way. Sadly Perth thru total lack of Comp just produces spit and sawdust trough slops because the ''locals'' are used to this celler muck. In Dec 2001 I sailed on the MV Funchel for a week and not even one food joint in Perth to this day could even match these Chefs, no one!!
@@ryansofly best eating spots in Perth are Morley (especially Coventry Markets), East Victoria Park and Northbridge. Plenty of other places too of course, it's just those three are the most food dence

Oh wow... You're very welcome!
Thanks so much for this. Travelling to Perth from Perpignan in September, it looks very beautiful. You are a very elegant man too!
You're very welcome! Enjoy Perth and let me know how it goes!
@@ryansoflyI loved it there and even checked out a couple of your recommendations.
Great video Ryan!

Tim, I'll fail as a spy. Present a dish with cream and cheese and I'll spill the secrets with no fight. Hahaha... Yes fish wings are rare on any menu.
Thank you for sharing this kind of video

Unfortunately he might reinstate the hard border again to shut out Republic of WA. I have Kalgoorlie planned beginning of 2022, fingers crossed.

The bratwurst at freo markets is a must try
For a first timer in Perth next month, where will you recommend to go to first. Not to expensive , but good food and great views?
Howdy Yolinda, good food with great views would be Fremantle for lunch. You can explore the markets after that. Thanks for stopping by!
I love Il Ciao!
Who doesn't? ☺️
Sounds very Singaporean or Malay
Saya orang Singapore, dong.
3:27 So strange to say "Il Ciao never fails to disappoint", meaning they have not lived up to their standards...
Yes I realized that! 😆
Seagulls so bad at that place 🤣

Oh no! And I am trapped here now.
Fremantle is lovely, but it's not a good eating spot.
Way overpriced and the restaraunts are tourist traps.
Agree agree agree...
