I'm from Canary Island, Spain and they said I have to pay the sending back from post office also because my region is not on the list for pre-paid ticket for sending back. And after I could request the refund... let's see what happens. Very disappointed. Also I try the hard reset and nothing happend... thanks for your video! Now i know is not just me
The reason I am over here is the same thing happened to mine after an update. Mine was 2 years old after the Warranty period, but they are going to replace it. There's stuff all over the web about this thing. I have an echo spot and dot for years and nothing has ever gone wrong with them.
hi. I did a quick video a few days ago when it happened to me. Dozens have reported this just in the forums and comments on my video. Amazon is not giving details. I received a replacement but now my photo frame option is gone. And that was the update they pushed out. They were pushing n update to allow all shows, just not Echo Show 15 to have photo frame mode. and it seems to kill/crash our echo show 15/ Many report no problems. They pushed the update out and listed countries it works in at the moment. It seems so far that the countries not listed are crashing.
Thank you for your detailed explanation! When I plugged in my replacement, it had to go through an update immediately. It took about 5 mins, longer than the "one minute" showing on the screen. I worried about crashing again :) Fortunately, this time, it went through. Hope it will not happen again. The warranty is only one year.
It seems that this problem happened to quite a few people. As a consumer, I do not like the fact that they can automatically push updates without us controlling it. (Yes, I know. I probably agreed on all the terms when setting it up, just like most people.) We should be able to decide whether to get an update and when to get it. I am glad that it happened within its one year warranty and I can get a replacement. What if it happens after the one year mark? Can they just do it on purpose to break it and force us to buy new device every year?
I was listening to music, it started sounding funny like a slow playing record, the it just fizzled out!! I unplugged it and plugged it back in, nothing! Do you call Amazon for the replacement? I purchased mine Dec 21, 2021.
Strange. Even I have this device at home for about a year now and it is working really well. The processor it has is designed by Amazon and Mediatek together.

Yes I'm having a problem, echo 15 is not working correctly it stop connecting the ring camera and showing the my driveway

Same, mine just did the same thing but not sure about the update. I just woke up and it was bricked.

I did the live chat on Amazon. In the contact of their webpage, there is live chat option and you just select that you have an issue with an order.

You can contact Amazon and claim warranty.
Mine literally just did it and I used the app to get to a help desk … I can tell it has power but just a dead black screen
Mine Echo Show 15 just died today :( my Echo 8 has had no issues for a couple of years.
The replacement they sent me didn't work either had to return it today what a nightmare
