LOVE watching you ladies. I live about 20 minutes from Healdsburg in California. We are heading up to Washington camping and will go through the redwoods. I call it I"m getting my forest bathing therapy .. Good for the soul. Your projects are incredible. Thank you for sharing your time, stitchie goodness and cheerful smiles!!!!
Hey girls - was glad to see another video! Watching as I stitch Summer at Hollyberry Farm. Jen- enjoyed your overview of the retreat, and both of you love the stitching, the haul, etc. as usual! You are both not alone when saying you need to stitch what you have - it’s a problem most of us have! So many beautiful patterns, fabrics, and flosses! Happy Stitching Kristy
Sarah, please don’t rush through showing your wip’s…that’s my favorite part of the FT and I’m guessing that it’s why most of us are here. I love seeing lots of wips and lots of progress. All of your stitching is beautiful and it’s very fun to see a nice selection and variety. Happy stitching!
I agree! Please hold them up longer!!! They ARE gorgeous! I've not been able to really 'look well' trying to pause the video at the exact right time! That's hard to do! Lol! Thank you, dearly!!!!
Loved your flosstube ladies! Good to see your beautiful faces again. Lots of great haul and project bags! I, too, have cut down my stitching purchases and am focused on finishing what I have. One WIP at a time. 🪡
Sorry your flight was cancelled, but appreciated the opportunity to spend and chat with you Jenn. I know our paths have crossed before so glad we finally connected. Great QS recap. I love reliving the retreat through others' eyes. I think we are all in the same situation with so many lovely things to stitch and not needing one more thing, but loved seeing your haul and checking out the project bag makers.
Thank you Ladies! It was great to meet you both as well and connect. I’m glad you both enjoyed the retreat! I liked all of the kits we received and learned so much from Pat! She is a wealth of information. Hope our paths cross soon again!
Watched this earlier today on my tv! Loved every minute! Really enjoy hearing what you are up to, seeing all your stuff and also getting info on sellers of the bags and other goodies! Thank you for sharing, I smiled nonstop for 2 hours!
Just found you ladies and thoroughly enjoyed your video. I really would love for all of us who are stitching marking samplers to remember the little girls stitched them not only to learn their ABC's but back in the day when making linen was extremely laborious, it was valued and often listed in wills to be passed on in the family. Linen was used for sheets, towels, washcloths and marked with the letters and numbers to keep track of it. Often it was listed in the estate inventory, so much more than just learning ABC's and as an accomplishment for marriage.
Thank you for the additional information. We are both just getting into Samplers and the history is fascinating! It was pretty amazing to have a piece in front of me that was stitched by a 9 year old girl almost 200 years ago! I love when they can trace the history!
So happy 5at you are working on the Bluebird Sampler and coming along so well Sarah, and that you’ve started the Eliza’s Birds too. So grateful! Thank you!!
When I saw you two this morning, I was so happy to start the day with stitchy friends! Love the retreat stories, haul, finishes and whips! You guys are my stitchy heroes!!
I really enjoy your floss tube! Both of you are so excited about everything it’s refreshing. I liked Jenn’s account of her retreats. She is hilarious with her excitement! I especially liked the little gift you both received that spelled out your floss tube. I just might make some myself for friends.
Loved the video!!! I love all those big pieces you gals do on those teeny tiny counts. I on the other hand, am still working on that 32 count (first time)89 by 89 stitches that I was working on during your last video..yep lots of coloring my chart and seam ripping- lol and it’s still not done. Lol- Enjoy that countdown till summer vacation and/or high school graduation❤️
Love seeing your WIPs. I’ve looked all over and cannot find the Garden Box pattern by Jeannette Douglas. Jenn-can you tell me where you got yours? Thanks in advance. P.S. I live very close to Quilters Station.
Sorry to argue about leaving projects in hoops. I stitch exclusively in hoops. There are times when I've left a hoop in place for months at a time. I've done this with all kinds of fabrics and all kinds of flosses. You are welcome to come to my house and examine the dozen or so framed pieces on my walls and look for a hoop mark. Some of them are 20 years old. It's these kinds of "rules" that scare off new stitchers. Fabric and floss are sturdy stuff!
Great question! I actually have projects in all of my bags. Somehow my WIP count keeps increasing…🤔 I’ll have to ask Jenn if she is actively using all of hers. - Sarah
You two are a terrible influence!!! Ahhhhh!!! Just kidding!!! However, I did find 5 NEW patterns I want to stitch!!! These can be bad! Ha!!! Lolol!!!! Thank YOU, both!!!
I am fairly new to your channel and am enjoying your videos. I would love a little background on how you two met etc. Also, since you don't use vinyl front project bags how do you keep track of what is inside of each one since you have so many? Do you give yourselves a monthly cross stitch stipend and if so how much? Just curious!
Sarah, I loved your Madame Butterfly by Barbara Ana. I’ve searched but unable to find it. 123 Stitch told me they can’t get it from their distributor. Is it an older pattern?
Hi Charlene! It's actually a new pattern offered through Nitka, but since that is a Russian company, we can't purchase it through them. However, if you message Barbara Ana on Instagram, she will send you a direct link to purchase the pattern from her. If that doesn't work, send me a message on Instagram and I'll forward the link to you. - Sarah

That is a beautiful area! And those Redwoods…. Amazing!
Another great video. Love seeing it all. Glad you liked the stitchy friends fob. Sarah, your needle was on fire! Have a great stitchy day.

We can't wait to see you too Angela!

This was advice that Jenn received at the retreat from Pat Ryan, the maker of R&R fabrics. Everyone should do whatever works best for them.
R &R linen is what I stitch on. I ordered directly from Dyeing to stitch. Remember ABC always bring cross stitch!
I will never forget this now Darleen!! Thank you!
👋🏼❤👍🏼🤗
Would love to see the photos of the box by LaDeDa
Fun episode as always. Just have one question. Do the two of you actually use all the bags in your growing collection?! 😁
Great question! I actually have projects in all of my bags. Somehow my WIP count keeps increasing…🤔 I’ll have to ask Jenn if she is actively using all of hers. - Sarah
Hi Janice, I have most of my bags with projects - maybe 5 that don’t have any but I seem to find a new project to kit everytime I buy a new bag! 🤣
I think that might be twill tape that you held up or even hem tape it’s kinda silky
Thank you!
You two are a terrible influence!!! Ahhhhh!!! Just kidding!!! However, I did find 5 NEW patterns I want to stitch!!! These can be bad! Ha!!! Lolol!!!! Thank YOU, both!!!
Glad we could help you build up your stash! 😉

Great questions Tracey! We are filming a new episode tonight, so I'll make sure we answer them in our video.
@@stitchyfriends Awesome, thank you!
I enjoyed your video. I’m interested in supporting and buying the design from your friend Allison. I have searched and can’t seem to find it. Thx

Okay, it’s your fault, lol. Just ordered Wee Bee Stitching and suggested she turn some of her bracelets into scissors fobs. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for supporting Alison’s shop! Great idea about the scissor fobs!
Angie, AZ Family Zoo loved your suggestion and she now has scissor fobs in the shop!
