It’s 1000 hp to the crank, it produces 793 WHP

Can't wait for new Chevy Tahoe 2020 tuning. Supercharger, cam, exhaust, new pulleys and all this stuff... God I miss my Escalade and Hummer. Because of Hennessy I went into tuning. Escalade was 550hp, handmade. H2 was 650hp, also handmade. Please tell me you have plans for the new GM platform

Nice, its a shame Cadillac just axed the CTS. End of an era and wish I could afford to scoop up one of the few remaining examples. Tough decision, V3 or V2 manual wagon, both with a TVS 2650?
Man the wagons are so rare that they are still 40-50k. Might be able to find one under 40 if you search hard. I'd definitely go with the wagon with the 6spd. You can find plenty of V2s for under 30k, with perfect conditions being around 35-40k. Good luck in your decision.

The stock internals are probably good to 1000. It's not living on a track so it should live a long life. Most people just give their car a whack once in a while. A 4 cylinder making a 1000 would definitely need some lower end love. LOL
With someone like me, it'll last a good 3 weeks lol. Anything I own, I put to the test. I purchase cars to DRIVE. I don't think there's a road I've driven that doesn't have a set of tire marks on it.

@@ParissaKhoury Those are dyno numbers. They tell you exactly how many horsepower this car puts to the ground. They're obviously not going to get the engine HP numbers SAE certified. The dyno numbers are all you need to know.

My mom asked me to get her this car so she can make it to the bingo hall first and get the best cards.
So..it's called an HPE1000 why, again? The dyno pretty clearly shows 793 at the wheels, which is definitely not 1000 at the crank. Maybe 900 at the most, but probably more like 880. Call it an HPE900.

Y’all really think that you lose 200 hp from the crank to the wheel no I don’t that’s to big of a lose if it were 100 less I would be less sceptical but this is more than 200 hp lose for me not acceptable
chimpfann its the percentage not the number that is important. About 20% loss on automatics depending on the dyno. 1000 x .8 800 at the wheel pretty perfect
@@davidhebrank9946 your fake news there are many factors in the loss all depends on which car it is specifically drag and friction numbers but from a tuning company like hennessy i expect them to advertise whp numbers there supposed to be better than manufacturers so how about they act like it i also believe that this is a rear wheel drive car not all wheel so even less of an excuse
@@ElijahoutdoorAdventures Yes there are many factors. However, it's apparent that you do not really understand the larger factors. Yes, the percentage loss depends on the car but it depends much more on the transmission type, number of driving wheels and the type of dyno used. An easy way to check is if the ratio remains constant from the stock vehicle to modified. Additionally, they are offering packages with a factory type feel and manufacturers quote crank numbers. They do advertise dyno sheets with whp.

Very nice but can it keep up with german competition? Stage 1 M5 F90 for example can do 100 - 200 km/h in 6.2 seconds (with 809 crank HP)
Edit: I have not asked for a lunch menu. I need gps verified times to compare objectively. It would be great if a modified cts-v would be able to destroy the german rivals. Because I am living in Germany I can tell you that cars like the cts-v are as rarely seen on streets as some real exotics. The Germans are very biased and they think that only their brands can deliver true quality and performance. Yes, they are good, but others also know how to build good cars. Therefore I would absolutely love it to shred some AMG and M cars on the autobahn causing nightmares and stomach ache among those drivers.
The CTS-V weighs less than the M5 and in this case has a lot more power, too. So yes, it will eat a modified M5 for lunch.
