- After a heated argument about using magic, Darrin (Dick York) realizes that Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) was right all along... and that she needs to use a spell to help him!
From Bewitched Season 4 Episode 24 'How Green Was My Grass' - When artificial grass is mistakenly installed on the Stevens' lawn, Darrin thinks that it is Samantha's doing and tells her to get rid of it. After the real owner comes looking for his turf, Endora hexes their yard and Samantha can't bring the expensive turf back.

Even though they didn't get along on-screen, Agnes moorehead adored Dick York and was upset when he left the show.
When his health became worse, Moorehead was the one helping him get around the set.
@@humps678 Agnes moorehead had compassion for Dick York. She wasn't too fond of Dick Sargent, who played the second Darrin.

Actually, the whole crew helped York. They built special furniture to help the pain, including a device he could lean on between takes. Unfortunately, there wasn't much they could do for the injury. Today, they might be able to reattach the detached muscles that caused the pain.
Another unfortunate thing is that Dick York became addicted to the painkillers. To his credit, he kicked the habit on his own. The one habit that he never kicked was his heavy smoking.
Once again, Darrin jumps to the wrong conclusions‼️🧙♀️

I always loved this episode! Endora has a great moment in this scene, even though she does not actually appear in the episode!

I love it when Sam asks when would it be a good time? To argue, that is. Darrin's big mouth gets him in trouble with Sam's family more often than not. 🙂
He kisses Sam on the cheek, with no reaction from her, and then he insults her Mother. Sam is tolerate, but Darrin does push her buttons, too often.
The outside scenes were done at The Warner Ranch. One can see the cars behind Liz.

Their address from the start was always 1164 Morning Glory Circle. Why they had to completely change for this episode is odd 😕

You tell them I didn't order it, you go find it.
I love this show, but there are SO many episodes where he calls her a liar or says she used magic when she didnt and then he ends up needing her to use magic to get him out of a bad situation that he got himself in for refusing to believe her. Those episodes really bother me. I just wish in atleast one of those eps she would remind him of every other time that he called her a liar and then ended up promising that he would never do it again only to end up doing it again and again and AGAIN.
However i am so glad yall had this posted on here because on tv they have cut this part out ive always wondered what endora had to do with any of this...now i know haha.

Why, after all this time, is the wrong number on the Stephens' house? It's an easy plot device to use, but it makes absolutely no sense. There's no way to get 162 from 1164.

hummmmmm 162 exactly can sameone tell me where the 2 came for because is1164 I don't understand plass is the mail 📬 box on the sidewalk plass an other area in front of the house the only number on the house got nockt down from the airhead Derrin when he bank the door and the number turn but still don't know the 2 because there's no 2 in the regular numbers is 1164.
