Malvern To Church Stretton

Saturday 8th April 2023. I got to the top of the hill about 12:00. I spent almost an hour flying about trying to find a thermal. I thought I was going to the bottom a couple of times. As the cumulus clouds came closer from the east, I found a good enough thermal. Quite a slow climb. I could see that there were no cumulus directly downwind, so I went west to be under a cloud street. This seemed to work, as I found a good thermal, but then glided down until getting low beyond Bromyard. I guessed that a caravan park would be making a thermal and I was right. This took me high again. The next thermal was just downwind of Tenbury Wells. From the top of that I could easily glide to a train at Ludlow to my left, but decided to carry on to Church Stretton. This worked. Although I landed about 15:20, the next train was at 17:07, some trains just speed through here. A nice day out, though.
