Bush's Best Beans Museum and Restaurant - Chestnut Hill Tennessee

Today we pay homage to the baked bean at the Bush's Best Beans Visitor Center located near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! Housed in the original A.J. Bush general store, the museum, cafe and well stocked gift shop are worth the short drive from nearby Gatlinburg.
The free interactive museum traces the history of this family owned corporation from humble beginnings to current prosperity. Along the way, we walk through a can of beans and enjoy highlights of Bush's highly successful commercials featuring Duke, the scheming Golden Retriever's quest to steal and sell the secret recipe. At the end of the tour, visitors are treated to a complimentary photo with Duke, himself.
The adjoining restaurant serves not only beans, but great Southern fare. The service is great and the food is very good, and reasonably priced. Pecan pinto bean pie is the most popular dessert should not be missed. It is surprisingly good!
