Thank You Jody. I appreciate it. Sure hope your doing Okay. God Bless my friend
Nice video of a variety of locomotives.
Mr. Walter, sure enjoying your locomotive highlights and also sure interesting about the way you work with your computer and all and those playlist! I am sure happy you all didnt have anything bad with Hurricane Heleen. Here in Nashville, thank God we didnt have any bad winds either, but Nashville did have lots of rain and i am like you, i sure hope and pray this next one will go another direction. Also, the locomotives blowing as they go by and past, that is such a great sounds, I am crazy about that wonderful sounds! My family were full of railroaders, my grandpop on my moms side i have told you about, my grandfather on my dads side was a railroader for a while, my mom worked in the ticket office her at Nashvilles Union Station where my grandpop was a railroader before she and dad married back during WWII and my moms sister worked in the office of the old Tennessee Central Railroad here in Nashville and 2 great uncles were also railroaders, one at Union Station and the other at Radnor Yard and i am so lucky to live near Radnor Yard here in South Nashville! I came very close to becoming a locomotive Engineer, but i wanted to work with dad in his construction housebuilding business but, if it wasnt for that, i sure would have been an engineer. i have always been crazy about the railroad! My good late mom always said, there is nothing like the railroad! And Mr. Walter, i know you will sure agree! Railroading gets in your blood as you know! I have high hopes that your good grandson Jensen becomes a railroader like you! God bless you, Miss Mary and all your good family!
Tanks for sharing you railroading family story. I'm sure your Mom was right my friend. The Railroad has quite the history of railroad families over the years. Jensen is very smart and he will go far what ever profession he chooses
I really miss you railfannig Walter 👍
😊 Thanks I don't get out too often now
I like the locomotives
Thanks John They are inspiring I agree
Good list of locomotives and enjoyed watching. 😃
Hi Miss Joyce, how are you, God bless you!
@@jodygrubbs-lv7bp Hi Jody! So glad to hear from you. I was wondering if you were ok during Hurricane Helene and I see in your comment to Walter you never had any bad winds. And now Hurricane Joyce is brewing in the Atlantic. I was telling Walter that I hate for the hurricane to carry my name. I am hoping it will fizzle out somewhere in the Atlantic and not bother anybody. How is your tooth doing? Have you have anymore toothaches? I sure hope not, they are painful. If I remember right, you have a doctor's appointment this coming Tuesday. I bet you will be glad when it is over. I was reading in your comment to Walter you have many railroaders in your family and you thought about becoming an engineer. I have also loved trains ever since I could remember but don't have any railroaders in the family. But I can recall Mom reading lots of train stories to me as a kid and where I went to school a train passed through on the edge of the school yard the railroaders would sometimes throw out candy to us kids. So that is probably why I got started loving trains. The guy who rode the caboose always waved at us kids. When I was 7 years old on my birthday my Mom and I went on a train to the next town 20 miles away. I was in 7th heaven and enjoyed that day. I remember going to the old depot to get a ticket. It very old and had beautiful woodwork in it that they kept varnished and shined up. I remember the porter picking me up and placing me on the steps of the train and helping Mom get up as well. As we were riding along I thought how weird it felt to look at the back of peoples houses and business's. Dad met us at the depot and took us home. I had a great time and never wanted that day to end. LOL! Probably if I had the chance I would have worked on the railroad to. I pray you are doing well Jody and in no pain. Hope and pray that all goes well on your Tuesday appointment🙏. I will be thinking and praying for you. Hope you have a great week.
i always enjoy the trains
