I have the G&P DD 12.5 inch handguard , but every time i try to install the handguard there it seems to be left some misalignments between the handguard and the upper even though i am using a 20 cm picatinny metallic tool , maybe it is because of tightening some of the screws to much or to less . It is not a major issue , to the rifle functionality but just for aesthetics or in case i will put some iron sight or laser dball . I can strongly recommend to wrap some Teflon band on the inner barrel just to fill the gap between the inner and the outer barrel , in my case ( without any vibrations ) the precision got improved a lot !

Awesome tutorial. With the stock SOPMOD handguard/outer, do you have to take everything out every time you wanna access the inner barrel ? Like for cleaning/maintenance.
I think you can just take off the delta ring portion if you want to service the gun. Don't need to take off the entire FSP each time. You should be able to work around the gas tube.
The only TM in stock at Evike is listed as a, MTR1 ZET System Gas Blowback Rifle w/ Cerakote Firearm Finish. I'm guessing that since MWS isn't included in the description, this isn't in the same category as the MWS that you recommend? Sorry if this is an obvious question.

I'm gonna buy the Madbull 9.5in Daniel Defense Handguard. What length should my outer barrel be? having a hard time picking between the long kit(10,11 in) and medium kit(8,9 in)
Depends on what you want. I’d recommend the medium kit for a stupid flush fit with the muzzle device (should be able to get 9.75” with all the adapters installed. Otherwise go with the 10” for a more traditional look

I have that Dytac barrel short kit. Do you know what extension adapter you used to connect the barrels? Do you know the thread size on the base end?
Any 14mm CCW fits on the muzzle side. But no idea what’s the other side

im also planning to buy the mws, but wanted to change handguard because the mk18 style i like it more.

Hey!!!, you didnt install the gas rod, its just for mimic or it has some purpose?
Link for the barrel nut shims? I have the same issue with mine. The rail mount is kinda loose even tho the barrel nut is already tight.
