I made a template in Canva too (sooo handy) when I have a full page I send the page to the local UPS store online to laser print it. The print quality is better than my old inkjet and it's only 69 cents a page.
It's like you can read my mind! I have just been planning out how to start a book review journal. Literally made my first ever A&O purchase (getting the new Marked notebook!). And was just gathering sticker paper/label options. Your tutorial is so helpful!!! Thanks so much!
This is so useful, thank you! Saved it refer back to ❤ The canva frame thing just blew my mind, I could not figure out how to do this myself, and I have been intending to watch some canva tutorials but just had not got round to it yet - you've saved me 😅
Not one, not two, but three tutorials in one! I'm in awe of your kindness toward us newbies. To save on my expensive ink, my son suggested the local drugstore digital photo printing service.
This is a great video, thank you! Calibre is a great software app to use for organization (not just for ebooks but physical too), and they have a fantastic search covers feature that can resize the way you want. Might make it easier/faster to search for the correct covers.
Love the demo. I need all the technical help I can get. I want to jump into starting a Reading tracker, but I do have a question: As I am not as prolific a reader (maybe 20 per year), do you have any tips as to how - and when - to print out titles? Do I have to wait until I've read enough books to fill a page for printing, or can I reuse the sticker sheet and adjust what is printed to just 1-2 books at a time? Any thoughts? ~thanks
yay i've been toying with the idea of starting a reading journal since i saw your videos on them last year. I read a lot but am very visual so book covers are a must. I am trepidatious about starting another journal tho as I already have several.
Yeah I do find my reading journal a bit harder to keep up with, but I also enjoy it so much 😝 could trial putting some reading related layouts in your everyday journal first to see how you like it? 🤔
@@JashiiCorrin my every day journal is super minimal. I think I’d want to do something more decorative for a reading journal especially with adding the covers. It would drive me nuts to have a mixed vibe in my everyday journal lol. I will have to figure something out. I’ll have to look and see of I have an old unfinished one I could experiment with.
@@JashiiCorrin Yes, I've used it. It is super easy and free to use. You don't have to buy the labels from them either. You can also download the templates for Word or work on their website, save them as PDFs, and print them yourself. AND, I love your videos. Thank you!

I just use the cover for the physical book because I like all my covers the same size 😝 otherwise they’re normally square(ish) so it’s the same process just with square sizing
Depends on how much you want to fit on the page, but you can size them larger before printing if you think they’d be too small 😊 I’d test it by using separate pieces of paper that you’ve cut to size as stand ins for the book covers, just so you can see how many would fit
A bit of both 😊 If I'm pretty dang sure I'm going to read it, I'll use those covers to fill up space on a page. Wanna make sure every page is as full as possible 👌

Nice! Sounds like a good option 😄
You could print out the covers of your TBR and then you have an illustrated TBR list you can just peal off as you complete ❤
That’s a cool idea! 👀
Thank you for taking the time to do this step-by-step video!!

Have you tried preparing your document for printing from the Avery website?
I don’t buy my labels directly from Avery so haven’t tried that 🤔 have you used them before?

How do you handle audiobooks? They're usually a different size. Do you have to do them on a separate page?
I just use the cover for the physical book because I like all my covers the same size 😝 otherwise they’re normally square(ish) so it’s the same process just with square sizing
Los tamaños estarian bien para un cuaderno A4?? o crees que serian muy pequeños? muy buen video gracias♡

Do you print out the book images you want to /going to read? Or do you do it after you read them?

What’s the journal note book you are using in this video ? 😮
That one is from Archer & Olive 😊 They don't have this design specifically in stock any more, but they have a new release coming this week! 💪
