- The sound of the Holy Panda and Novelkeys cream in the same board. These two switches are among some of the best sounding switches in the market. Esp on a solid keyboard, it really brings out their true character. Both are using GMK white on black key caps.
i like the holy pandas sound but the cremes linear idk what to do lol
exactly, i dont really like tactiles at all but I love the sound of holy pandas
Vintage whotes
I like Novelkeys Cream Switch.
Good choice!!
Of course
@@forthosewhodare7325 what do you prefer?
@@elevator-_-6083 If for typing than HP and gaming I prefer NK
@@forthosewhodare7325 I think I like holy pandas but granted those the only switches I have so I’m biased lol. Still tho rn I have a d65 with HP and gmk white on black:)
Sheet son, thanks for the vid, def going with the novel key ones

needed this
Bro imagine the Creams with the Holy Panda sound
I would try out holy pandas but they are 1.20 per switch 💀
are these both lubed?
Is that the abko ar87?
Yes
@@forthosewhodare7325 what an awesome looking board that is
@@haidgu thank you!
@@forthosewhodare7325 korean? I wanted to buy but hard to get in Korea zzz
I dont get why people get gmk sets that are just black and white with no other colors. It makes your keyboard look like an office keyboard
I think that's the whole idea is to have a retro, classic look. I used to feel the same as you, until I got a chance to look at up close and in-person. It is not what I expected at all! The black color is so much deeper, and the white color is more like an inlaid that got injected into it. It is hard to explain. You just have to see it for yourself in person. And also the feel of it is on a another level. I compared it to with a regular office keyboard that is in black and white and there is no comparison. All the font is perfect, nothing out of line. GMK is expensive but you do get what you paid for.
@@forthosewhodare7325 yea but GMK keys are only barely better than something like tai-hao. Most of the expense for GMK keycaps is the exclusivity
@@doughy_ Well yea. I mean if you put it that way than according to scientist humans are only 3% smarter than an Ape. But that 3% made humans a genius. Sometimes that "little bit" will cost 10X times more and depending on who you ask it may or may not be worth it.
@@forthosewhodare7325 really touched a nerve with that one didnt i
@@doughy_ What do you mean?
Where do you buy the Novelkeys Cream switches?
You can buy them on NovelKeys
hey you better switch the m and n before i get angy
Will do 👍
Uhhhhh which is which???
on the right is the panda switch.
How do you get the creams to sound so poppy and higher pitched? I got mine today and they dont sound anything like that. i need some help because that sound is why i got them
Did you applied film? If not, then it will need to be filmed and lubed. Check this out.

@@forthosewhodare7325 I haven’t yet but the amount of videos I’ve seen where they sound different it’s making me wanna change my mind. Because I’m one hand you got like tfue keyboard that sounds so crispy then on the other you got other people on UA-cam that sound COMPLETELY different, even filmed and lubed, do you know why that is?
@@nothingtosee8828 Unless it is in the exactly config. like same keyboard, keycaps, lubed, film, etc. It will always sound different and will never sound exactly the same. The biggest change on how the switch will sound, I would say is keyboard. Every keyboard is built differently so keep that in mind, and second would be keycaps. Depending on how thick or thin they keycaps are will play a factor on the sound.
This keyboard the ABKONCORE AR87 is the heaviest production keyboard in the market. It weights in almost 8LBS of solid aluminum. Put in perspective, it is almost 5 times heavier than a ducky or ann pro. Also I stuff it with Soborthane foam from top to bottom with no gap inside the keyboard. It is as solid as it can be. Any switch I put in it will have that higher pitched sounded than on an average keyboard that's made of plastic
@@forthosewhodare7325 Well I got a drop alt, it’s kinda aluminum, idk how much but I know the frame is. It definitely doesn’t way 8 pounds tho😂 Do you think maybe because it doesn’t have some kind of casing around the keys that it’ll make it sound different too? Because the top is just flat, I know a lot of keyboard like have the keys like inside the keyboard if you know what I mean.
Which one do you recommend
I enjoy both. For typing I prefer Panda's and for gaming Creams.
@@forthosewhodare7325 Do you have to lube the creams?
@@Leo-is3gw Yes. esp for creams. It is critical to at least lube it. for best result tho apply film and lube.
