  • Traversing the Hex River Mountains from Ceres to Worcester.
Tagging peaks, sleeping in caves and exploring amazing views along the way.
Big thanks to Jaco Keller from the Worcester MCSA who helped us out with a drop off!
Thanks Tim for the drone shots.

Lovely shots and awesome peak bagging. The Hex is my second home, without a doubt my fav place. Bruce Spottiswoode, Greg Wessels, Roy White and I rebuilt Perry in 2008 after it was destroyed by a fire.

Thanks alot. It was great trip. I definitely don't get out there as much as I would like to. It is a glorious place. That is fantastic. Thanks for your hard work in the rebuild! It is much appreciated by all who visit for sure. What a spot.

I need to come back and watch this one properly. I've done Waaihoek past Thomas Hut down towards Worcester, and a detour to Buffelshoek, but never from Ceres side. The Hex is probably SA's most underrated mountain range - the only Cape range that I rate competes with the Drakensberg in terms of scale as well as dramatic scenery.

I prefer the Hex to the Drakensberg. It is very wild and rugged. Very little people. You can easily spend 5 days there without meeting a soul. There are lots of nice options on the Ceres side. Go explore if you can.

Great stuff. Well done. Nice video. I've been up there so often if feels like my 'home turf'. No Horseshoe and Horseshoe Ridge Peak etc..? Oh well, 3 times on Sentinel beats my 2 ascents (one at night with 2 well known 'crazies' - creepy) 😉😂

Thanks for the feedback. It is one of my favourite ranges. I did Horseshoe last time so this time skipped past. Getting lazy I guess.... Not many have stood on Sentinel. Each time feels like Christmas. Hope you get up there many more times.

@@mountaingoats9734 Also one of my favourites. Understandable. I remember climbing (or was it tottering) onto some of the smaller tops beyond the main peak/s on one occasion. Scary stuff. I think I was with 'the Behne'. Crazy man. Keep the great vids going.
