It's google's problem, not ours.
Internet working, movies working, mobile games working.

thank you! i went into settings, intelligent wi-fi, wi-fi power saving mode and turned that off. then it worked. i tried multiple times clearing the cache and deleting data but that only worked occasionally. i never thought the wi-fi power saving mode would have any affect but sure enough it did. fyi i had to do this on the S9 ultra tablet with the android OS, one ui and playstore versions all running the most recent versions.
