@@megan.6154 Hi Megan, it's the Equisafety Wrap Around sheet. I bought mine from Equus (and you can use code BARD10 for 10% off and free uk shipping) but it is currently out of stock there so you may have to look elsewhere if you want to buy right now: www.equus.co.uk/products/equisafety-hi-viz-winter-wrap-around-sheet?variant=6334350213.
The chestnut that you had to walk away from, sounded lovely. If wishes were horses, the chestnut would appear in my life. You sound clear minded and knew exactly what you wanted.
Oh he was beautiful for sure. In the end a bit too much horse for me and Steve actually said after he met me that the chestnut definitely wouldn't have been quite the right fit, so it all worked out 🥰
You are so good at explaining things and your voice is really nice to listen to - I have been super excited from the moment you introduced him to us and your regular updates have been so nice - can't wait to see you bond and improve - Woody the "delightful" chap!! 😅
Thank you so much for taking the time to give this feedback, Elaine! It means a lot and helps me know what's working so I appreciate it. Haha he really is my little delight ❤️ I can't wait to see where we might be in a year's time.
Sweet, kind nature, armchair canter, he really is the perfect horse! He just looks so happily inquisitive about the world. I cannot wait to see what adventures you have together. Xx
Yay! Another trot fan! 😀 I know what you mean about a good trot. I never had Peds vetted as a pony I was meant to buy before him was sold in the days between me viewing him and the vetting appointment. It really stung me (but was obviously meant to be as she really wouldn’t have been the right pony for me) so when I viewed Peds and agreeded I wanted him I didn’t want to ‘waste time’ organising a vetting! Not sensible, I know but luckily it all turned out fine! And the day after I had verbally confirmed I wanted him, I emailed the seller and she reassured me that as far as she was concerned he was mine 😊 I had to wait a week to pick him up due to work, it was the longest week ever!
Thanks for sharing your journey. I relate a lot as a 26 year old who has always loved horses and done a lot of riding, but never owned my own. Hoping to make my purchase next December or January (2022)!
Lovely Q/A and new intro! 💜 It did take me more than I’d like to admit to realize his “Hoover mode” was because he stretches out like a vacuum cleaner 😋
Noooo! I would never do that. I record my voiceovers after and layer then on top of my riding footage. I just like to say "as we ride along" etc so you can feel like you are there!
Hi Rhi! I was wondering if you could do an updated budgeting video - this was the first video of yours that i watched and loved your channel ever since, and thought it would be interesting and informative to see if you'd change/update anything after fully owning for yourself! x
I noticed that you use Arma boots on him. I'm looking for boots for my Irish Draught Horse and because Shires offer bigger sizes as well these are on my list of potentials. I cannot find any shires size guide for boots. What size did you buy and would you be able to tell me the height and width? And of course, how do you rate those boots? I'm always worried about over heating, and also about weight increase in wet conditions. I'd love to know your thoughts on the ones you have. And Woodie is stunning! I'm really enjoying following this journey!
Hey I absolutely love your videos I learn a lot from them! I wondered do you think you could make a video on rugs? I struggle to remember which one I which and when to use them when needed. Do you think you could make one? :) Gracias!!💗💗
I was a few months late sending Nalas passport off☹️ but they sorted it fine as if it wasnt late, just the date was December rather than the July i got her 😂🙈 and ive not insured her due to lack of £ 🤣
I can't wait to watch! Edit: I just watched! I am so happy for you, he is perfect! And I brought my horse a salt lick recently and he didn't even try it, he spooked at it instead and wouldn't even go near it 😂😭 x
So x rays aren't included as part of a 2 or 5 stage vetting and if you choose to do x rays, you'd then choose what to x ray, eg. Just the front feet up to the knee, all four feet, all four feet plus the back etc etc. It gets quite expensive as you pay per plate / image !
It did! The great thing about that Kent & Masters saddle as it does tend to find a variety of horses and is adjustable. My saddler came out and confirmed it was a good fit, but we'll be checking in in a few months time as we expect his shape to change again as he builds more muscle. Any topics covered today you'd like to see a deep dive on? Let me know! Rhi x
Sorry for the random question but just wondering what brand is your hi vis sheet? 🙂 x

Absolutely! Love that. X

Please could you do a lunging video as I need some tips and saw on your Instagram. This video was brill I am so happy for you xx
Hi! Sure I can definitely try to do that. I actually asked my coach for a lunging session because I'm ok at it, but I could be a lot better!
I just got back in to horse riding a couple of weeks ago since twenty years ago. I find your videos fantastic and quite educational, thank you!
My first horse is a 16’2 American Paint, American Quarter Horse, Belgian Draft cross. He’s 16 years old and unregistered
I like the way you jump your horse and you are good win you ride
He is a beautiful horse
He just sounds like everything you said you were looking for in your previous videos! So chuffed for you 😊
This is such a good video idea! I love that you're so open and honest about buying Woody, plus he is an utterly beautiful boy 😍
Me and woody have the same birthday 🥳 love your videos!! :)))
Just found your channel and I love it! So enjoyable to watch you interacting with Woody. He’s a special guy, congratulations!
Thanks so much Janet, welcome to the virtual yard 🥰
He is absolutely gorgeous Rhi!
Congratulations to you 👏

It did take me more than I’d like to admit to realize his “Hoover mode” was because he stretches out like a vacuum cleaner 😋
🤣 that's exactly why! He'll hoover the floor right up. I should explain that more often. People will start calling him Dyson 🤣
@@RidingWithRhi Woody the Gentle Dyson....I’m on board with that 🤣🤣
Love this!! Please please please can you do a video on questions you asked sellers? Thankyou!🥰
Sure. I'm overdue a video on what horse adverts mean so potentially can roll it into that.
Amazing how you can use your laptop and ride a horse at the same time, balance of a god 🙏 woody is gorgeous by the way I adore coloureds 😍
Noooo! I would never do that. I record my voiceovers after and layer then on top of my riding footage. I just like to say "as we ride along" etc so you can feel like you are there!
Can you do a video on all the horses you tried
This is so informative! He looks so happy out hacking🥺
I think he really enjoyed getting out and exploring his new neighbourhood !
Are you still going to be riding Ted love your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️💓💓💓
Wow you have such beautiful areas you hack out around 😍
Congratulations! He looks (and sounds) like a real sweetheart! 😍
you two are the perfect pair!! I just got my first horse too!! I bet your so happy 🥰🥰

He sounds like the perfect horse! Loved the video. Please could you do some more lunging videos and what your working on with him 🙂
Sure! Happy to do a video breaking down how I split up our week and showing you a bit from each day ✨

Yes! I'll do an updated one 🥰
I can't wait to watch!
Edit: I just watched! I am so happy for you, he is perfect! And I brought my horse a salt lick recently and he didn't even try it, he spooked at it instead and wouldn't even go near it 😂😭 x
Noooo 😭😭😭 ah man how annoying haha. At least you tried hey
this was very educational, can’t wait to get my first pony, still young though and too inexperienced, but this was great to know 👍🏻
Awesome!!!
New subscriber!
Welcome! ✨
So happy for you
I’m going to miss ted for sure! Woody is very handsome though, gorgeous color and he seems to have a very nice personality. 💕💕❤️🙌🏻🥺
Yes! He's a legend 😍 and thank you - he's such a sweetie it's lovely getting to know him.
Hes such a cutie 😍
He is 🥰🥰
Awww I LOVED this
Amazing video as always!
Love this 🙃
Hey, I know this may sound really weird but, I saw you out hacking, I am a totally fan girl🤣 sorry if it was weird
Do you use synthetic saddle’s? If so what brand!
No, leather - mine is an Albion
When you do either 2 or 5 stage vetting in the UK, do you do xrays as well?
So x rays aren't included as part of a 2 or 5 stage vetting and if you choose to do x rays, you'd then choose what to x ray, eg. Just the front feet up to the knee, all four feet, all four feet plus the back etc etc. It gets quite expensive as you pay per plate / image !
Woody is so cute
how much was rhi and what breed if you dont mind me asking? :)
Rhi is the rider 😅
Woody is her horse an Irish sport horse and 8 years old :)
Nice
could you explain how you’d get into affiliated?
You just sort of would! You'd join whichever membership you'd need to (E.g British dressage) and then find a local affiliated competition.
Do you get paid doing UA-cam just a question as I think you should because you are ace x
Early ! 💗
Did teds old saddle fit him ? X

what breed is your horse
Woody is an Irish Sports Horse ☺️
do you miss ted??
Of course! I think we all miss horses we've bonded with. But I'm also excited for the next chapter with Woody and all that that brings 🥰
me too!! wishing all the luck in the world!!
Thank you ❤️
