I live here in NYC and I can honestly out of all the NYC vlogs I watch yours is the most realistic. A lot of the things you do are what we do here normally. I'm happy to see the real NYC instead of this idealistic over romanticize version of it. Looking forward to Vlogmas!
I love the positive vibes of your videos. I was so close to visiting NY at one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit this city. All the best!

Just want you to know that a lot of UA-camrs serve as friendly background noise for me as I go about my routines at home, but with your videos I always make a point of sitting down (or sprawling out on the couch or bed) and really watching every moment. It’s almost like my meditation. Lol

I found your vlog channel because I'm visiting NYC for the first time this Jan. One of the aspects of traveling that is fun for me is planning which involves watching vlogs in the area I'm going to be traveling to. I love your vlogs! Another moving to NYC tip! A lot of people don't want to commute but sometimes the apartments in the tri-state areas are much cheaper. Look at places like Mountain Station NJ or Orange NJ, yes the neighborhoods are not that nice looking, BUT you'll be 18 mins away via NJT to penn station. You're welcome!
I loved it! I actually love playing sports but kind of forgot about it as an adult... until I get these kind of opportunities and it brings my competitive instincts right out. *However* I only played for 20 minutes, and woke up sore the next day 😂

I loved Boston for college but wanted to make memories in a new city after graduation and new york city felt like the ultimate destination for someone studying architecture. And once we lived here for a while, everywhere else just feels a lot smaller 😅. We still go back to visit and reminisce though (and to go to Flour bakery haha)!
Chantal- I love watching your vlogs- it's my free trip back to New York City every week! But I do want to add if you don't mind, a caveat to living there. I am a native to NY- born and raised and because of the influx of the wealthy class, shooting up the cost of living, I was forced to leave- prices are insane and you must make 40X the rent to even think about getting an apartment there. Visit yeah, but reality is now the whole game has changed making it nearly impossible to survive the cost of living and new tyrannical rules. Pay to play mindset is needed. Shameless plug for the Hudson Valley - which is where I moved to- it's beautiful here and much more reasonable 🤗
Hi from Australia, strange request, but is it possible for you to mention either in the description box or in your actual vlogs the week/date that you film this. Eg/; first wk of Nov, 2nd wk of Nov etc. Asking because I'm coming next year in Nov and I often watch what you're wearing to get an idea of approximately how cold it is at that time of year. I know that things can change from year to year, and I know i can check the temp online, but it puts things more into perspective to see what you and others around you are wearing for the tine of year. i actually just went to Serendipity last week. Crazy busy, but i had reservations so we sat right away. It is a vibe of chaos for sure. Great staff, food is sub-par but the DESSERTS are where it is at. i had the vegan frozen hot chocolate and it was worth the visit for sure.
Great video! Love the East Village! Not to be that person, but the correct spelling is Tompkins Square Park. It is named after Daniel D. Tompkins who was Vice President under James Monroe and a governor of New York State in the early 1800’s.
