This is definitely an option that I'll be looking into when I start tracking my M3
Amazing! First thing I did to the Subaru (it's a different platform) was the front and rear bushings to get that "gated" feel. Awesome vid, one of the best mods to do on a manual.

Yo Bimmer Dude, do you need to add the DSSR or just the shifter assembly? I read dssr was only for smg cars. Also, how long does it take to get?

They are on a crazy back order right now. Ordered in February 2020 and still haven't gotten it yet.
are you serious :( I got mine second hand thankfully. Only issue was it didnt come with a DSSR :/. have you been in contact with them? I was really wanting to order a different color shift knob from them
Did you get the rubber boot to stay? I just installed mine and I couldn’t get it easily
Which version RTD shifter is this? I have the same installed by previous owner. Wanna change the knob and RTD website not helpful.

Thanks! This headunit is ancient LOL! it came with the car from the previous owner. If i had to guess its from 2012 or older lol . Eonon as a brand makes a great product thought ! Stay tuned .. I may or may not have already bought something to replace it :)

Bimmer dude... My guy... U do mini videos at all anymore? Was wondering about walnut blasting my r56. Maybe pulling the head and looking for burned valves. I mean I love e46 m3s but mini driver in the middle of nowhere need you!!!

You read my mind I've been trying to pick the right upgrade for my M3. Can't decide to go full out with an RTD/IRP or a more traditional upgrade (UCC or Turner Motorsports, I already have an unknown short shifter installed)

@@BimmerDude after doing some research I think I'm going with RTD's newest revision. When you installed yours did you get the DSSR/ any other maintenance parts to replace

Zero comparison this is definitely a race inspired shifter. Not everyone will like this for a daily driver

I would say it a bit aggresive for a daily. i daily it but some might not

Like the video, not trying to be a troll , but please wait for your oil to get to at least 180f before you rev it past 4 k or you will fry your rod bearings in your m3.
Where in the video did I not wait for warm up? Car was 100% warm when I went for drive?
@@BimmerDude the lights on the dash were up but the oil temp gauge was still at 120, the redline lights are based on water temperature, the CSL mode came with oil temp based lights

@@floridaheat305 no trolling here justs an observation. The world would be a uh better place if ppl would be less sensitive. That being said my oil temp gauge is broken (not accurate) . I need to replce the sensor in the oil pan. Definitely on my todo list.
