Hey Sarah👋😊 Well first off, I’m so sorry that happened, I know it must be a challenging time but I think you are managing brilliantly. I love the turn to art, I think it’s a wonderful outlet; I just love watching people mix colors (wish I had that skill). Wishing you much luck in your endeavors❣️
I am in the same spot. I was a graphic designer, working remotely. I am starting the new year unemployed and also trying to focus on my art with my free time. I swing from feeling hopeful and excited to freaking out. I hope we can both move on from this purgatory and do art we feel good about.
I'm telling myself it's my anxiety meaning well, trying to keep me safe, but it's good to lean into discomfort. It'll be worth it!! Wishing you the best of luck and sending support.
I am also starting the new year unemployed for the first time in my adult life. I’m also using it as an opportunity to tap into my creativity but am also feeling that ‘like a kid’ no real purpose feeling. Looking forward to watching your journey!
I'm glad to know the feeling isn't just me, but I am sorry to hear you're starting the year off this way. We'll get through this! Best of luck. Thank you so much for being here!!
I know that feeling. The feeling of "what now?" when you quit (without a back up job or failsafe) or get 86'd from a job. Because you're used to routine, and the back-of-the-head knowledge that you know bills and expenses are covered by your scheduled pay days. Then suddenly *boof*, you're just chilling. Because we have responsibilities now, the "free time" doesnt have the feel of relaxation; but rather a monkey wrench. that, and job hunting really sucks. But here's KNOWING you'll bounce back easy, Sourpatch. "When one door closes..." vibes for you. Hang in there!
Aww lovely I’m so sorry to hear this happened to you and I hope that something you are hoping for comes along soon - whether that be a new job or something different. Thank you so much for another lovely video. I really love the content you create! I recently went back and watched the last year or so of your videos, they are so gentle and relaxing - you are doing a wonderful job! I hope you have a nice week 🌻🍒
Unfortunately, I think a lot of people are finding themselves in this same position as the year begins, but I love how you're taking this unexpected free time to grow. Fingers crossed and best wishes that this is only a minor bump in the road and the rest of 2025 is full of success and slow mornings filled with peace and contentment. Wishing you the best of luck
Im sorry you got laid off, I'm hoping you find something quick and that you enjoy! On another note: do you use your Divoom speaker often? I was thinking of getting one for my desk.
