When I want to counter bait, I just use atomic samurai and do 3 M1’s. For some reason people activate their counter and think I’ll use Quick slice, I think this is due to the fact that anyone that uses blade master does 3 m1s. And then use quick slice with makes the other player activate their counter, because they are so used to people using quick slice after 3 m1’s. Let me know if this helped!
