Shasta Lake
Shasta Lake, California's largest reservoir, filled to nearly 100 percent capacity in May 2023, reaching levels not seen for four years. NOT Lake Oroville! This is a great example of what is wrong with the "professionals" in the news media. They don't even know what the largest reservoir in the state is!
Since Shasta Lake is not part of the project, why are we still sending water to SoCal? In its own convoluted way you are actually stealing water from the Klamath River through the Trinity River, so maybe the distinction between projects is what legally allows SoCal to do that? Splitting hairs is always a good indicator that something isn't right!

The next drought is right around the corner as is the next Atmospheric River. It never ceases to amaze me how many uninformed, or maybe uneducated people live in California. Quit listening to the apocalypse purveyors and fake news and pick up a real meteorological history of California and learn something about the state you live in!
