That is a good Biblical example of two persons being literally called one in the Bible. The Biblical definition of "one" is not correctly established among JW doctrine.

Asking one to clarify on a Bible verse is unreasonable for them. It's called being indoctrinated. I was a JW for 32 years…I was blind but. 5 years ago Jesus knocked and I opened the door and was saved …PTL 🙏🙏🙏 JWs are very very blind and sometimes even rude…those women were unkind and simply rude! I hope I was not like that to anyone… Today I understand the triune Godhead …only the Holy Spirit could have clarified it to me and He did!!!! When I was young, I had a hard time understanding the trinity. It was explained to me like this, water can have 3 forms, liquid, solid, vapor. They all are used differently but at the end of the day what are all three? Water! Feel free to use that one, really helped me as a kid.
Arguments by analogy always have flaws. Water can be liquid OR solid OR gaseous; so according to argument by analogy, god can be Jesus OR the ghost OR the father. One at a time. Similarly, water must be acted upon by a temperature difference to become ice or steam; so according to argument by analogy, god must be acted upon (by ?) in order to become Jesus or the ghost. The only coherent explanation for the trinity is very simple: Polytheism is more fun than monotheism -- notably, the Jesus character puts a relatable Human face on an otherwise distant and alien deity -- but christianity comes from a tradition that hates polytheism. So christianity tries to have its cake and eat it too -- it claims monotheism, handwaves the trinity as a "mysterious paradox", throws some theological spaghetti at the problem, and relies on the raw appeal of the trinity to keep christians believing.
Aren't analogies resorted to when the scriptures fail to back up a belief? How about this simple statement: 'No man has SEEN God at ANY TIME.'- 1 John 4:12. Wasn't Jesus SEEN?
John 17 shows that being one with someone does not mean you are the Sam being. Don’t just take 1 verse here and there. You have to look at the whole picture

I found it funny how they opened with asking me if I think there will be tulips in heaven. Not once during our discussion did they even try to explain to me how I get to their heaven. They also could not provide a convincing argument for why Jesus is not God. They have their versus which honestly do not prove one way or the other. When we go back to scripture to find more context they then revert to the old you mis interpreted line. That is not scripture, it is a subjective opinion spoken by man. JW are lost.

I think people need to consider that there are certain things that Christ said and did not say for the purpose of fulfilling scripture and literally setting an example of what we are to do in terms of having a relationship with God the Father.There had to be a separation of some kind for Him to set that standard for that relationship and just fulfill the will of God on the cross altogether and then of course like Nick explained we have a soul,spirit and body three parts that coincide with God Himself. So there is a legitimate spirit connection between God the Father and Christ which makes Christ Lord !

I love how they set up their booth to talk to people but when you talked to them most of them didn’t give you eye contact or their attention. They pack up their stuff and left while your talking. I had a Jehovah's witness told me Christ was godlike. I had to respectfully correct her, then dismiss her. Jesus the Christ is God, the Alphs and Omega. Leave all religiousity behind, and seek a relationship with Christ.
You can't have a relationship with christ if you don't believe he is the son of God. He is also an heir, ps 45 v 7. highpriest, prince (not king) of peace. Firstborn of all creation. God or any part of him in any fashion cannot die.
I came across your videos about a month or so ago and I really love what you do and truly admire your Christian walk. Please pray for me to have the same desire and courage to reach out to the post like you do! I got saved 20 years ago after the loss of my son but have been distant from God for several years now. I think you’re doing great overall, but one thing that may help is agreeing with JWs when they define Jesus and the Father as different persons, because they are. The Trinity is one God, three distinct persons. One in essence, three in personhood. You and I are two different persons, but we are both human beings (same essence). The spirit, body, soul thing is more of a word of faith teaching that isn’t super clear in scripture and may muddy the waters more for you.

One person recently was arguing that Jesus *is* the Father, using the reasoning Jesus said "I and the Father are one". And he was offended I said "so, you do not believe in the trinity." You said "One in essence, three in personhood. You and I are two different persons, but we are both human beings (same essence)." Are you 2 one human? No. Thus, it does not make sense if you are trying to draw a parallel. You said "The spirit, body, soul thing is more of a word of faith teaching that isn’t super clear in scripture and may muddy the waters more for you." The body, soul, spirit thing also does not draw a parallel to the trinity. As you are not 3 persons in one entity. The fact is, the Bible does not teach God is a trinity. (1 Corinthians 8:6) there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.

The fact is that just because the word Trinity isn’t used in scripture doesn’t mean the concept isn’t there. Just like the word omnipresence is not seen in scripture, but we know that God is omnipresent because the concept is there. I feel like they discount the meaning of the word eternal. Being eternal doesn’t mean you don’t die from the point you’re created it means you are eternal you are before creation you are after creation you are beyond time and space, and that is so if Jesus is eternal, then Jesus is God

I grew up JW. There are more harmful doctrines they teach that prop up the governing body or the "anointed class" teaching that puts them in place of christ, robbing the believers of a personal relationship with jesus. No need to tell a lie because you differ. JW does not prevent anyone from establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ nor Almighty God. Instead just the opposite. We believe Jesus is the Son of God and he is not the Almighty God, according to the scriptures, not through doctrines as erroneously stated. As far as our belief in the anointed, which the number of those chosen are in the scriptures. We use the scriptures from multiple Bibles as you do, NWT, KJV. We read God's word. Not our own.

I am so thankful to God for bringing me out of that after almost 40 years! Once I started thinking for myself and not just assuming that I'm nobody. I thought the governing body knows so much, who am into question? Honestly, if I had died during those years and was in hell, I would have blamed myself for not witnessing enough and not being regular enough at meetings. But, when I saw Christ coming back I would have known I was wrong and begged Him to have mercy on me! I thought I was serving the True God!

Nicholas, I stumbled upon your videos of witnessing to JW's. I must say you are very patient and respectful with them and their foolish arguments, and I commend you. As i write this to you, I'm reminded of a JW co-worker, I was having lunch with him , and we discussed our differences. This caused me to do a diligent search for every verse I could find that might cause him to reconsider, that Jesus is in fact God. Am going to try to give you that study, perhaps you will find more compelling verses to support our position while sharing with JW's. If i can't give you the file, i will just copy and paste the verses.
I’m in Philippines. I ask many jw’s this question. ( I don’t mention heaven or hell because that will lead you down another rabbit whole, so I shy away. I simple say eternal life, i’ll ask them do I need to become a Jehovah’s Witness to gain eternal life? Most say yes you do. then I look at them and say so Jesus is not enough for me to gain eternal life but I also need to become a Jehovah witness correct? At this point you can see that they are becoming uncomfortable and Minnie will try to change the subject or distract you. Imagine standing before the lord and telling him Jesus you were not enough but I also needed to become a Jehovah witness to gain eternal life that my friend is blasphemy. If they say no and I’ve had a few Jehovah witnesses say no then I asked them then why do you pursue me because it’s irrelevant that I’m a Jehovah’s Witness to gain eternal life.

It was interesting to see how they would respond to the questions. At the beginning of the conversation almost right away, the one guy said he would talk to you, but he didn't want to be on camera while doing it. So that makes me wonder if all the JW that were there would have stayed longer and talked if there was no camera recording them? 🤔 It should not make a difference if a camera is there or not, but for some reason, people get scared of them or they are worried about their image or how they will look on camera. I have a question have any of you struggled with lust or perverted thoughts or adult content I struggle with controlling those thoughts it's even harder because I'm autistic which has a connection to hypersexuality or perverted thoughts that they can't control there's been many studies proving this I mainly get tempted at night time when I go to sleep. Pray. Ask, and you shall receive, surrender yourself to God, and then ask for his help. Lust is not something that can be overcome by ones own self, only with God's help will you be free of it. Also, if you have regular exposure to provocative things, cut those things out of your life immediately. Say you have a youtube account that regularly recommends you tempting things, start blocking and ignoring all of those videos, and recommendations, that, or just scrap your account all together and make a new one. God is so serious about lust he quite literally tells you to run from it. It is not something you should take lightly, or dwell near. And let's say you pray, and a couple days later you feel it creeping up again, DO NOT STOP PRAYING. Have the lord dwell in you at all times, and there will be no room for such things. Jesus said ''Pray lest you fall into temptation'', so do just that. I wish you well, may you succeed.

Everything that @BlessedWarriorOfGod is telling you has worked for me as well, coming from someone who has abused his own mind and body with perverse acts for more than half my life (17 years). As an extra bit of advice, if you're not getting daily exercise already, you definitely should. Also, consider an electronic fasting or an actual fast from food to get closer to God, as fasting has had beautiful consequences on my heart and my connection to God in desperate times. But most importantly, hear the Word of God, read the Word of God, study the Word of God, memorize the Word of God and pray pray pray. May God Bless you, and may He have mercy on all us sinners. 🙏

If you are saved and devoted to Christ, if you truly are following Him as Lord of your life, then you have been given the right to become a son or daughter of God (John1:12). With that comes AUTHORITY over the darkness (Luke 10:19). Speak to the enemy and all temptations, rebuke them and send them away in Jesus name. do not open doors that let the enemy into your life. He will tempt and then accuse, but the Lord will convict and change without guilt. We must capture every thought into obedience to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-6). For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. QUESTION: So WHO does Jesus hand over the kingdom too ? WHO puts all enemies under his feet ? Now Vs 28-7-28 which says For God “subjected all things under his feet.”But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone. QUESTION: WHO does the son subject himself to ? Does it look like Jesus is God here, considering God does NOT have a God himself ? Please read Rev 1:1 which says, "a revelation from Jesus which GOD GAVE HIM" so please can you tell us all, "WHO gave this revelation to Jesus ?

Its quite arrogant that they repeat the phrase "well we believe the whole bible" as if we dont. They also read the bible front to back and then do it again every year for their other study mid week. I think its called "our Christian ministry". The watch tower study is basically the sermon you are going to hear on the weekend service. Its just the same one for all JWs world wide and they can study it and answer the questions and points about what they learned. Its interactive not just one guy talking. When there is 1 guy talking thats called a talk and it will be on a specific subject.

If he had real faith and real conviction in his belief system, what's stopping him from going from house to house as all Christians do or setting up his own 'witnessing platform' in public where he can attract people who might be interested in gaining bible knowledge?

Asking one to clarify on a Bible verse is unreasonable for them. It's called being indoctrinated. When I was young, I had a hard time understanding the trinity. It was explained to me like this, water can have 3 forms, liquid, solid, vapor. They all are used differently but at the end of the day what are all three? Water! Feel free to use that one, really helped me as a kid.

Water can be liquid OR solid OR gaseous; so according to argument by analogy, god can be Jesus OR the ghost OR the father. One at a time. Similarly, water must be acted upon by a temperature difference to become ice or steam; so according to argument by analogy, god must be acted upon (by ?) in order to become Jesus or the ghost.
The only coherent explanation for the trinity is very simple: Polytheism is more fun than monotheism -- notably, the Jesus character puts a relatable Human face on an otherwise distant and alien deity -- but christianity comes from a tradition that hates polytheism. So christianity tries to have its cake and eat it too -- it claims monotheism, handwaves the trinity as a "mysterious paradox", throws some theological spaghetti at the problem, and relies on the raw appeal of the trinity to keep christians believing.

I found it funny how they opened with asking me if I think there will be tulips in heaven. Not once during our discussion did they even try to explain to me how I get to their heaven. I think people need to consider that there are certain things that Christ said and did not say for the purpose of fulfilling scripture and literally setting an example of what we are to do in terms of having a relationship with God the Father.There had to be a separation of some kind for Him to set that standard for that relationship and just fulfill the will of God on the cross altogether and then of course like Nick explained we have a soul,spirit and body three parts that coincide with God Himself.

I pray that you will fully seek to understand the doctrine of the Trinity vs a strawman of it, which is what you (knowingly or unknowingly) portrayed back. It’s helpful to actually understand someone’s beliefs before assuming them. I say this humbly and with love because it’s something I have been guilty of in the past as well. The fact is that just because the word Trinity isn’t used in scripture doesn’t mean the concept isn’t there. Just like the word omnipresence is not seen in scripture, but we know that God is omnipresent because the concept is there. There are many other such theological terms assigned by theologians for concepts we see described in scripture. Blessings to you.

I grew up JW. There are more harmful doctrines they teach that prop up the governing body or the "anointed class" teaching that puts them in place of christ, robbing the believers of a personal relationship with jesus. When i did those booths i enjoyed conversations with fellow Christians as yourself, being raised a Jw it is difficult to understand the trinity.

I am so thankful to God for bringing me out of that after almost 40 years! Once I started thinking for myself and not just assuming that I'm nobody. I thought the governing body knows so much, who am into question? Honestly, if I had died during those years and was in hell, I would have blamed myself for not witnessing enough and not being regular enough at meetings. Nicholas, I stumbled upon your videos of witnessing to JW's. I must say you are very patient and respectful with them and their foolish arguments, and I commend you. As i write this to you, I'm reminded of a JW co-worker, I was having lunch with him , and we discussed our differences. This caused me to do a diligent search for every verse I could find that might cause him to reconsider, that Jesus is in fact God. Am going to try to give you that study, perhaps you will find more compelling verses to support our position while sharing with JW's. If i can't give you the file, i will just copy and paste the verses.

I’m in Philippines. I ask many jw’s this question. ( I don’t mention heaven or hell because that will lead you down another rabbit whole, so I shy away. I simple say eternal life, i’ll ask them do I need to become a Jehovah’s Witness to gain eternal life? Most say yes you do. then I look at them and say so Jesus is not enough for me to gain eternal life but I also need to become a Jehovah witness correct? At this point you can see that they are becoming uncomfortable and Minnie will try to change the subject or distract you. Imagine standing before the lord and telling him Jesus you were not enough but I also needed to become a Jehovah witness to gain eternal life that my friend is blasphemy. If they say no and I’ve had a few Jehovah witnesses say no then I asked them then why do you pursue me because it’s irrelevant that I’m a Jehovah’s Witness to gain eternal life.

Jesus is clearly saying in John that his Father is his God and that he does not do his will but the will of the Father who sent him. That Father has a name that many churches do not teach.

There is a Holy Trinity just like a unholy trinity.
It was interesting to see how they would respond to the questions. At the beginning of the conversation almost right away, the one guy said he would talk to you, but he didn't want to be on camera while doing it.
So that makes me wonder if all the JW that were there would have stayed longer and talked if there was no camera recording them? 🤔
It should not make a difference if a camera is there or not, but for some reason, people get scared of them or they are worried about their image or how they will look on camera. It changes people, and it's sometimes not for the better.

I mainly get tempted at night time when I go to sleep. And when I wake up I have an urge to look it up for some reason but my brain is still not awake but I don't have a reason and I'm not thinking clearly on why I'm doing it it's just pure impulse
Getting those thoughts in temptations in my head it's something I struggled with for a long time especially last night
( this hasn't been going on for really really long time for me and is just a hindrance in my walk with God and maybe the reason he doesn't talk to me or answer my prayers)
It's something I've been struggling with recently the past couple months but lust in private thoughts I've been dealing with for years I don't want it in my life I don't to be away from God because of that sin and I don't want it to stop God from working in my life blessing me and stopping me from living a holy life
And being a good husband because I want a good Godly wife( I'm still a virgin and I've never been in a relationship, and I do get frustrated about that)

Pray. Ask, and you shall receive, surrender yourself to God, and then ask for his help. Lust is not something that can be overcome by ones own self, only with God's help will you be free of it. Also, if you have regular exposure to provocative things, cut those things out of your life immediately. Say you have a youtube account that regularly recommends you tempting things, start blocking and ignoring all of those videos, and recommendations, that, or just scrap your account all together and make a new one. God is so serious about lust he quite literally tells you to run from it. It is not something you should take lightly, or dwell near. And let's say you pray, and a couple days later you feel it creeping up again, DO NOT STOP PRAYING. Have the lord dwell in you at all times, and there will be no room for such things. Jesus said ''Pray lest you fall into temptation'', so do just that. I wish you well, may you succeed.
Hello brother. Everything that @BlessedWarriorOfGod is telling you has worked for me as well, coming from someone who has abused his own mind and body with perverse acts for more than half my life (17 years). As an extra bit of advice, if you're not getting daily exercise already, you definitely should. Also, consider an electronic fasting or an actual fast from food to get closer to God, as fasting has had beautiful consequences on my heart and my connection to God in desperate times. But most importantly, hear the Word of God, read the Word of God, study the Word of God, memorize the Word of God and pray pray pray.

If you are saved and devoted to Christ, if you truly are following Him as Lord of your life, then you have been given the right to become a son or daughter of God (John1:12). With that comes AUTHORITY over the darkness (Luke 10:19). Speak to the enemy and all temptations, rebuke them and send them away in Jesus name. do not open doors that let the enemy into your life. He will tempt and then accuse, but the Lord will convict and change without guilt. We must capture every thought into obedience to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-6). Once the enemy realizes you aren't playing he will stop. You have to remember we wrestle against unseen forces. Ephesians 6 armor of God. ❤️

You cannot prove Jesus is God. If you can then maybe you can answer these simple questions:
Eph 1:3 says "blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus" so if that is correct then you would not mind telling us all, "WHO is the God of Jesus" ?
It is easy to see why some people get confused about God because Jesus said "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me " So the question is WHO gave this authority to Jesus ?
So God has entrusted HIS SON to bring judgement to this earth and has appointed his son to judge the earth, and so Jesus figures so much in the outworking of God's plan that people often think that Jesus is God, but this is not the case, and to prove this I am going to show you one chapter out of many in the Bible which proves Jesus is not God.
Take a look at 1 Cor 15; and Vs 24 to begin with which says: Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet.
QUESTION:
So WHO does Jesus hand over the kingdom too ? WHO puts all enemies under his feet ? Now Vs 28-7-28 which says For God “subjected all things under his feet.”But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.
QUESTION: WHO does the son subject himself to ?
Does it look like Jesus is God here, considering God does NOT have a God himself ?
Please read Rev 1:1 which says, "a revelation from Jesus which GOD GAVE HIM" so please can you tell us all, "WHO gave this revelation to Jesus ?
How do I avoid Gods wrath? I do not want to go to hel- oh that's right, you don't think there's such a thing as hell. Even though Jesus was clear on the matter, just as he was about his origin of being. What do I have to fear if I'm just destroyed? I'll commit whatever and any sin I want, it's no different than how an atheist would think his life would end without Gods existence, you just die and decompose right? This honestly was the breaking point for me, I grew up a Jehovah witness and the jehovahs witnesses gospel makes no sense. It was when I realized this, I came to TRULY know God, I was given a new heart, a new mind, and new ambitions. Just because hell is scary does not mean it is any less true. THIS IS THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GOSPEL, THIS IS THE IMPORTANCE OF JESUS'S CRUCIFIXION, HE SAVED US FROM UNIMAGINABLE ENDLESS ANGUISH. I truly hope you see this yourself.

Its quite arrogant that they repeat the phrase "well we believe the whole bible" as if we dont. They believe the WHOLE WATCHTOWER article, and use the bible as a footnote - I know this personally from my good friend. They are so busy having to study the WT articles for the next meeting that they only open the bible MAYBE to check a verse called out in the article. They seldom know any context, having no idea what an entire chapter is about or the flow of the entirety of the bible. So very sad

They also read the bible front to back and then do it again every year for their other study mid week. I think its called "our Christian ministry". The watch tower study is basically the sermon you are going to hear on the weekend service. Its just the same one for all JWs world wide and they can study it and answer the questions and points about what they learned. Its interactive not just one guy talking. When there is 1 guy talking thats called a talk and it will be on a specific subject.
Traditional Christianity consists of hundreds of denominations, and they all tell ppl to reject the Torah as authoritative. They even go so far as to tell ppl that they're cursed if they live by it like Christ actually commanded. So no, traditional Christianity doesn't believe the whole bible. The fact that they observe pagan traditions under the pretext of God's law being "nailed to the cross" says they don't, because the Bible doesn't teach this lie anywhere.
