Brad is one of my favorite characters. He is always kind, and he always listens to Sue and wish her the best... he is so so so so so sweet 💖💖 He is as sweet as Sean
“She’ll figure it out or he will.” That line is so good! I think this episode was out before marriage equality and there was (or still is) a huge debate about LGBTQ rights and queer kids coming out. Frankie & Mike refrain from outing Brad before he was ready and let these kids figure things out for themselves on their own terms. For a show set in Indiana, it’s nice to see the Hecks be accepting towards Brad and his friendship with Sue. Ah this show was and still so underrated. I’m glad it lasted as long as it did.
“Sure. Close the door if we are bothering you” is such a brilliantly written piece of dialogue considering the context.
The delivery is part of it.
"Close the door if we're bothering you" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes. Brad was the nicest character on the show. The actor did a great job portraying kindness.

It wasn't that big of a thing lmao you can find a lot of such moments in shows of the 90s or even 80s
Engineering the ruin of society
A father dreams. My daughter in love with a gay guy. Don't have to worry about prom night
Close the door if we're bothering you lmfao
Daughter dated a gay guy. Every father dreams
😂
😆
She'll figure it out or he will 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, there was never a closet for this kid to come out from.
They should have done a spinoff where brad and his partner moved next to sue and her husband.
Would have been so good
Oh yeah, that would have been great in „Sue Sue in the city", but then it got cancelled :(
YES PLEASE???
Omg yes!!! I would watch the hell out of that!
There was plans for a spin off about Sue and Brad but wasn't picked up.
@@AmericanTrucker it didn't get canceled, it was never picked up to begin with.
It took me so long to realize Brad was gay. Probably because I watched this before I understood that
Sue could not see that Brad was gay? See really wanted a boyfriend
No spoilers, but she does find out way later in the show
That is true. And the best part, she loves him no matter what. Sign of a true friend
@@michaelphilpott8860 Exactly
Maybe she did but decided not to act up on it. I don't know, it's my theory. You can disagree
@@shadowrealmmedia9448yeah, in the last season
I just can’t believe she really didn’t know he was gay lol
That’s the joke
Sue was extremely naive and clueless.
To be fair, he didn’t know himself either. He did eventually tell her, and she told him that she already knew.
@@laurawhite9822 he went to go tell her but before he told she said she knows.
“…RHYTHMIC”
Brad is so good
I love Brad!!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Love the confusion on mikes face :)
That squeal. 😂
Can’t believe who she eventually ended up with.
Brad so brill !!!
Brad is cool
Lmao
I wanna hang out with Brad & watch Barbra Streisand movies!⭐⭐⭐☮️❤️
