- Rick and I stop at the beach in Patillas, Puerto Rico. He shares a little history. The coast along the beach is very nice and close to downtown. We stopped at Playa Patillas. Later that night I return to Las Marias.

I do not want to take away anything from the northwest of Puerto Rico , so beautiful but the coast line between Patillas and Naguabo is the most beautiful coast line in Puerto Rico by far.

The island makes higher spirit and bigger heart...
Uff my friend you only saw partial about Patillas. This town is big. Tell you friend to bring you to el charco azul, el bosque forestal, los tres chorros, el charco la vuelta, la pared, guardarralla, there is a playa where you can see lighting at night in the water. It is around guardarraya. Also you didn’t visit The cerro la Santa... or the Holy Mountain that unite Patillas, San Lorenzo and Cayey towns. Thanks for sharing.

I go to this beach every time I visit, last time in the end of January , love how they fixed the place up. If you keep driving up the mountain past the beach you will see spectacular views, pretty scary though if you are afraid of heights , the road has super high drop off to the ocean but it is beautiful and worth it if you have never seen it.

Wow, pretty cool information about Roosevelt. I never knew he had a summer home on the island. I wonder if my dad knew that. He also lives in Patillas. On a steep hill overlooking the beach. But It has been so long since I visited that even if you caught it on your drone footage, I probably still couldn’t even pick it out. Cool none the less.

Ovi, your videos are just so enjoyable. After watching one of your videos I always feel so much more relaxed and calm. It's like I went on a quick vacation, lol. But seriously you have such a genial quality about you and it ruminates all about, everywhere. I love the footage you capture it's incredible to see those beautiful beaches and those mountains are breath taking. It would be hard to choose where to buy a house if one could have that kind of choice,🤔 mountain top home or seaside cottage? Wow either way it's beautiful and you capture that essence as well as anyone can dare hope to. Thank you very much my friend, God speed and I hope your going back very soon to Puerto Rico, after all this insanity with this Corona thing. Stay safe, my regards to all whom you care and love....
Thanks Louis. Glad you like them and now I know I am doing something right. My intention has always been to capture the island in a way that would always remind me where my ancestors came from and how they lived. I still have a lot of work ahead, but I do it with joy.
