Creality firmware obtaining tutorial: • Video
It's silly how a printer is sold with auto leveling, yet it does no such thing. It's virtually impossible to get all 5 points level - as someone mentioned you either have corners right or the center, but not both. The software doesn't do a great job of autocorrecting for this.
For me this tutorial was a real game changer, excellent guide to level you Ender 3 S1 Plus, I went through the full process and had excellent results. I was getting a terrible 1st layer and after following this tutorial, things are much much better. I had to adjust the Z axis when doing the 1st print, but that was it..........
I agree! Finally finished the leveling with my Ender 3 S1 Plus :).. Thank you for your comment!
I'm confused what is auto leveling if I'm required to manually level?
@@RomanTymchyk You're right, it doesn't feel like "automatic"...try a sonic pad, thats a lot easier!!
What worked for me was i got rid of the stupid springs and bought silicone spacers off amazon. Leveled it once perfect. Been going strong for a year and half now. Just do an auto level here and there.
Welp the latest firmware update completely screwed up my ABL. Thank creality. When I hit Aux Level the Extruder is higher than 5mm so I can unable to set a z offer under that.
Could you please post a support video on how to level the Ender 3S1 Pro after installing the Creality Sonic PAD? I just purchased a Sonic PAD from the Creality store and after installing it and leveling the printer via the instructions from the Sonic PAD the unit appears to be out of level and After Sales Support insists that is why my prints are failing now. If I uninstall the Sonic PAD and reinstall the original firmware and relevel the printer everything works fine until I reinstall the Sonic PAD. I would hate to have to return the Sonic PAD because it does improve the print speed considerably, but if I can't get a successful print I really won't have a choice. Thank you for all the videos so far, they have been a great help.
Consejo , Ajusten la tuerca de las Excéntricas del Extrusor, eso no me estaba dejando nivelar al centro de la cama por lo que estaba floja... La ajuste y quedó perfecto 💯
"Slight sense of friction" is such a subjective setting. Slight does not mean the same for everyone.
Why can't Ender provide a scale: a piece of paper pulled by 2 springs on each side, with a needle scale.
Something like what we use to weigh fish.
I don't understand why is always up of about 4 no matter the leveling i do i must manually put -4 z offset autoleveling is worthless it make all the point than center and goes up of about 0,5 cm

el mejor y único video que encontré en especifico de esta impresora, muchas gracias, me sirvió bastante :D
Why it took me so long to find this video!!???!, this is the way!!
I've been having issues with my first layer for months, after a full update (board and screen) and this video, my S1 Pro is now a lovely printer
does not work - I am absolutely dissatisfied with the printer. If I set up point 1 and then points 2-5, of course, point 1 is no longer correct in terms of height. you never get all 5 points set up correctly this way. and the autoleveling doesn't work anyway. the object always detaches from the platform.👎
It is a bit daunting. You have to go around at least twice, as when you adjust one corner it'll put the opposite corner out. After getting all my corners the same it left the centre point 0.1mm difference. Nothing you can do about that, it says the bed isn't exactly flat. Close enough though. You've also got to put a "Brim" around the object to help it stick, if it still moves, apply gluestick
Use the auto bed level function afterwards. Also you can set this up in you slicer to do it automatically before every print. Only problem with the auto bed leveling is that they don't move it close enough to the edges. I have an issue on the right edge. I can't get that to stick properly with big prints or if I print multiple parts which are located close to edge especially the right edge.

You go in a diagonal patter like when you put a tire on you when you do one corner you go diagonal to the other. That's how I've always leveled manually and it's perfect every time no bed adhesion problems. I just saw this video and I honestly never even touched those auto level buttons The most I did was touch the middle one the first time I got it just to set my zero point
that's all well and good, but mine is new, haven't even ran a print yet. the x and y run fine, but probe doesn't deploy and blinks red. stuck on the leveling screen at 0% no information on the cod or how to fix it
ender 5 s1 and it worked great for the first month. Now I made more settings than before but it doesn't work :(
What firmware does this printer have? I can't calibrate the offset when it's printing, when I touch the screen it doesn't do anything
My leveling screws wobble and spin when I turn the knobs
I can’t tram the bed either nothing works the z is always way off on the center no where near the bed. Considering sending it back getting a refund and buying an anycubic. I’ve never had any problems with their resin printers.
I think I've been where you are.........Couple of things to think about when levelling... 1) do a reset before starting the levelling process, 2) check your bed for any dip in the middle. Mine was out 0.20mm, I just shimmed it with tinfoil, works, 3) at the start of you print, if the Z axis is still out, you can adjust it from the touch screen while you're printing. Hope this helps
1:19 "pump the paper with a slight sense of friction?"

I have a problem, my cr touch on my ender-3 s1 pro just stop working, when i start the print it deploys twice but it keeps on red light and not deploy for bedmesh...

@@crealityafter-sale5706 Thank you, I will write them right now!!
Pls tutorial sonic pad 😊😊
is the factory reset a required step every time I level the bed?
I do it, that way you are starting with a clean slate. You might have to reset you PLA/ABS settings
So at what tension is the bed springs? I tried this method, but I usually tighten the plate down, then level.... so this method didnt work for me...
I have set my bed spring tension to about half way.....
It is usless to do automatic leveling.. before you use the manual leveling... first part you can easy skip... And better you heat the bed up to 60°C, before leveling.
May I ask what heating the bed up before leveling does?
@@centeg84 bed may warp when heated up so you want to get your mesh while the bed is heated since you are going to print while the bed is heated.
@@Mammolytic Thank you!
Yes you gotta do manual leveling first.
@@Mammolytic I have the nozzle heated as well, to eliminate filament giving a false reading when doing the manual level
