- Whether you call them DIY dog toys, DIY dog treat dispensers, homemade dog toys, or Do-it-yourself dog toys, all the treat dispensers featured in this video are easy to make and will keep your puppy busy. Our puppy is a Pomsky. Our puppy is a super active breed and wants to play all the time. We constantly need to come up with new dog toys and new dog activities to keep our puppy occupied. When bored, puppies can become destructive.

If they like water bottles grab an old sock( long one) let a bit air out the bottle put it in the sock and make a tie at the end 😽
Hiding treats in a wrapped up blanket I find helps a lot!

That is awesome! Get ready for a storm entering your house 😁. Make sure you take as many pictures and videos as you can because two months from now, you'll have a completely different dog from the puppy you first get.

I wrapped thin bacon around their bones and cooked them on low for about 40 mins abd they were stuck pretty good wrapped around for some good licking and bites getting if off. But the Himalayan bone last forever and there's a homemade recipe.

Thank you! Now I have some ideas for different toys because I just recently got a 7 month old beagle Aussie mix. Another idea is to get a water bottle, put a little food inside, screw the cap, and put it in a long sock and tie the top of it to make a crinkle and rattle toy.
Haha, thanks so much for the suggestion. We've seen that on some other UA-cam videos? Did your dog eventually tear apart the sock and the plastic bottle and tried to eat the food or did it last a long time?
It actually lasted quite a while. Over time my dog became an aggressive chewer, so i would recommend for small dogs.
We're lucky that Beedi is not an aggressive chewer :)

My DIY Pomksy toy is an old sock, stuff a small (rope) toy in it so it's more bite-able, put some treats and kibble in it, tie the end = doggo occupied for a loooong time.
Ripping it apart isn't an issue for my pup, but to actually get all the food out of it is what takes quite a while! I'll have to try out the plastic bottle, since my Pomsky is absolutely obsessed with those too!

My dog is fed raw food and she actually crunches and eats bones. : ) (the correct, safe bones of course). Also, antlers tend to be indestructible and can be a source of entertainment forever. I really love the cardboard ideas like the toilet roll and milk carton. She is a puppy and loves to destroy things.
Beedi loved to destroy things a a puppy too. Thank God she grew out of it :)

Yes, a lot of Pomsky puppies love to chew on toilet paper and old tissues. It normally goes away after the puppy stage.
Love the idea but it doesn't work for my dog.. she always chews the bottle or lid shut

What is the name of last bone that you used?
It's a real bone that we got at the butcher.
Asian stores will sell packs of big bones for much cheaper than a butcher shop

@@JamesandLaurent I got hip bones when he's done I use a battery powered saw and cut it down lengthwise he goes crazy waiting to get the marrow inside really gets more mileage out of them too just be careful and don't hurt yourself

My dog destroys every dog toy she comes across and buries her Kongs. The only indestructible item she loves so much is a large cheese puff container lol, she's had it for a year now and it finally cracked.😁 She loves to shred her toys, so stuffed toys etc last about a day.
Haha. The beauty with these is that they are free and you just replace them with the next one when they're dead :).
My Pomsky is 11 month and she is not like you're Pomsky and mine is very destructive , what can I do to make her not to destuctive.( She will bite the plastic bottles and her toys where it's no use at all).
When we first got Beedi, we started watching UA-cam videos from a dog trainer called Zac George. He has tons of videos about curbing bad dog behavior. Another great channel is Sixty Formula. It is about Huskies specifically and we have found it to be very applicable to Pomskies, who display a lot of the same traits as Huskies.
Of the toys mentionned in this video, the real bone is almost indestructible and the orange juice bottle is pretty sturdy too.
Uh i love every life hack but my dog likes to chow a lot and for the plastic diy hacks just don't seem safe if i left her stay home by her self (NO HATE)😊
Thanks for your comment. FYI, we never let Beedi play by herself unsupervised. These are only toys we use when we are around the house.

She used to as a puppy, but it stopped fairly quickly, once we bought trash cans with a lid :). Now, she doesn't care about it anymore.
