I love the way you analyse and explain the formation and the use of all these words. You are so articulate in English and give examples that facilitate learning the language (but not too many examples, which is also a good thing). I wish your channel had shown up earlier in the recommendations from UA-cam. Ben türkçe öğreniyorum ve bazen diğer bir öğretmen ile Skype üzerinden konuşurum. Your lessons are going to be helpful, I can tell. Bu arada, ben İsveçliyim. Bana göre, türkçe güzel bir dildir 🦚

Thanks very much for these very clear videos. I’ve been trying to learn Turkish while on lockdown with a popular online app, but with no grammatical notes it was like reverse engineering a watch, pretty frustrating. This finally makes sense of it. Working in Turkey in a job where English is the standard language is fine, but once outside of work I feel lost. This helps a lot. Thanks again.

    • @mehmetoguzturan
      @mehmetoguzturan 3 роки тому

      For example:
      1.
      Ev - Home
      -de - At/In/On
      -(y)im/-ım/-m/-um - First person singular (Ben - I) suffixes
Evdeyim. - I am at home.
      2.
      Yap(mak) - Do(ing)
      -malı/meli - Imperative suffixes
-(y)ız/-iz/-uz - First person plural (Biz - We) suffixes
      Yapmalıyız. - We should do.
      3.
      Öğret(mek) - Learn(ing)
      -ecek/-acak - Future tense suffixes
      -di/-dı/-du/-dü - Past tense suffixes
Öğretecekti. - He/She was going to learn.
Since the verb does not take any suffix, it is directed to the third person singular (O - He/She/It).
These were daily and common examples but there is no limit to what you can do with suffixes in Turkish :)
Muvaffakiyetsizleştiricileştiriveremeyebileceklerimizdenmişsinizcesine - As though you happen to have been from among those whom we will not be able to easily/quickly make a maker of unsuccessful ones

      +Wish me luck.

      (Asking the reason)
      +Wish me luck.
      -Why? (Neden?)
      (Asking the reason again)
      You see,
The literal equivalence of 'niçin' is 'for what', but both "niçin" and "neden" ask same question. This is the case in english too. You can use "why", instead of "for what".
I'd use "niçin" in my example, but let's not make it complicated 😁 just take it as 'why'.
