funny that i just bought the game a few weeks ago tho i only did the first mission so this review kind of gave me the urge to play the game lol, great video btw
Very briefly explained, as much as I adore this game it has it own flaws that I wish were looked back at and revamped including the ones you mentioned. Hopefully this channel gets the exposure it deserves in the future :D
Have you seen the new game "Hell Pie" yet? it's probably not as good as A Hat in Time, but it's a very nice 3D platformer with some challenging dungeon style (obstacle course style areas within a larger hub, reminds me of a dungeons in an RPG how it's set up) So you have a larger hub world, with multiple smaller dungeons within the hub world. You have a Cherub attached to one of your Horns, and you can use it in a similar way to the hat in Mario Odyssey, but it also has a grappling mechanic which is used to extend your air time while traversing. For someone that is into 3D platformers I'd definitely recommend it.
I haven't heard of it before, but based on the trailers it looks like a fun game. I've noticed that I generally have an affinity for games with a grappling hook mechanic, so I'll probably check it out at some point. I've added it to my Steam wishlist. Thanks for the recommendation.
