Lol I tried this game blind one night under the influence of some stimulants and, for prob about 10 hours, barely got anyhere. This seems like the type of game that I would need a guide to play.
Since the Ballista has such a high range, I prefer to position it a bit further behind the walls rather than being directly behind it. The Ideal tower formation for me is two 'boulders' in a row behind a wall and another 'boulder' immediately after the wall. The Ballista in the back might not be able to see much action, but floaters would easily get within range without being targeted, providing coverage from the floaters. The piercing shot would often land outside the walls so it does hit a bit of the greeds there. When the wall is falling, my subjects are retreating, any breeder around would often be weakened, allowing the Ballista to finish it off. Usually, when a wall falls, there's an accumulation of greeds, so a shot from the Ballista would pierce most of them. It'll be more vulnerable to floaters since they're the only targets in the front left. My dream defence is, a ballista tower, wall, archer tower, wall, archer tower. All in close proximity.
I have 2 verry good ideas to put into the game. We all know the war horse right? What if (and this is the second idea) we can at the last upgrade in the game get a stable, one where you can enlist 2 or 3 horsed knights (wich you have to pay for health like normal knights). Verry expensive ones since it would be late game. But they would act as bodyguards and charge forwards or backwards to kill enemies chasing you. And the warhorse could activate a charge that can have a charging knockback attack and have a damaging/killing attack for you and the knights for the time it lasts. If there are too many enemies and the charge runs out the knights will get damaged and lose coins.
thank you for this video.. i have started playing again and decided to try and never die.. hermits are very useful in this type of challenge.. but of course night started on island 5 in 30 seconds after it was day so i lost it.. i am so angry at this words cannot explain but at least it was fun :/

I don't know if it has been changed since you uploaded this, but I haven't noticed any decrease in farmers at the stables once their fully upgraded with or without the statue in play. I still have up to like 8 farmers on each farm. espically if you have the statue upgraded and the stables upgraded
I haven't played with stables too much, so maybe it has changed, but I don't think so. It might have something to do with how many farmers are working on the farm before you change it to a stable, not really sure
Hello i am fairly new to this game and find your videos very helpful, i was wondering why you have such large fields with walls on the end, doesn't that prevent any rabbits from spawning?
The main reason for the far out walls is so that my defenses are closer to the portals when it comes to attacking them. You're right that this means rabbits won't spawn in these gaps, but they'll still spawn near the outer walls and there's also farms to get coins too, so it isn't a big worry
I enjoy this game but I reckon they should update the money compacity because kings and queens usually carry bigger bags and not just one sac to carry coins
My baker hermit got kiddnaped on island 3 ,do i need to get inside the cliff and destroy it or just to destroy side of that portal ,with the cave in order to get him back?
Great video your voice is so soothing I have one question though, if a hermit got kidnapped by a greed, do I have to destroy the cliff portal in that island or just destroy the portal where the greed took my hermit.
You need the iron technology, then to upgrade and expand your kingdom until the forge spawns, then you can pay to upgrade squires to Knights kingdomthegame.fandom.com/wiki/Knight#Upgrading
Hello, I'm new to this game, I just wanna ask, after a special upgrade using hermit, can I change the upgrade using the other hermit? Or It can't? I just accidentally upgraded all of my towers into Bakery in the 3rd Island. Hahaha!
@@possplays thank you, another question is, do I need to expand my base as long as I can, or I really don't need to, because some important npc's will be gone is I expand so much, like the Merchant.
If the squire/knight who is hired from the Knight Hermit tower loses all their coins, can you put up another shield (like you do on the Keep)? or is it a one-time use..
How do I switch between two hermits? I have the bakery one following me to different islands, but I have the stable one unlocked and it didn’t follow me to my next island. And I need it to switch to my charmander for the cave lol
Hermits should all get on the boat whenever you change islands. There's a chance the stable hermit got taken by the greed at some point if you can't see them around your kingdom.
If you found them on the second island, it's the stable hermit. I think that's the one you mean, but they all look a bit different between the normal, shogun and dead Lands campaigns so I'm not certain
You need to permanently destroy the cliff portal on the island where the hermit got taken. The hermit will appear with everyone else once you escape the greed lair.
Archers will get into any tower that's not too far inside your outermost walls. i.e. archers won't get in towers by your town centre if you've expanded your kingdom a lot, but they'll get into towers near the walls or any outside them
I moved side to side like there's no tomorrow for half an hour but still the hermit wouldn't get tf down just for her to dismount on her own and the greed took her away :( is there a mod that makes me able to dismount them whenever I want to? (if you still playing this game)
that's annoying. I never found the moving side-to-side to be very reliable, maybe luck more than anything, or something unrelated that triggered them dismounting, no idea about mods as I play on console
you can't "complete" it straight away, you just need to sail to the next island and keep going until you get the iron technology from the fourth island, then you can destroy portals
yeah, you can sail between islands whenever, only thing to note is that the boat gets destroyed when you land on a new island, so it'll need to be rebuilt before sailing again
@@possplays I like but at the same time don’t like how there’s like No explanation on the game mechanics and figure it out on your own. It adds a fun level of difficulty

Destroy the cave (bomb the cliff portal) on the island where they took your hermit
