I think every Cupra 300/R reaches 272Km/h on the Speedo. I have a Cupra ST 300 Manual FWD and it also runs into the limiter at 272Km/h which are 264Km/h according to GPS.

I ordered a Leon ST FR 190 a couple of months back (arriving soon), the dealer had one of these ( Llandudno dealer), with a carbon pack which looked great, in this exact colour. Very pretty car.

Great video! Do you know what is the average fuel consumption in the regular Cupra?
Depends where and how you drive it, out in the countryside not in cupra you can get 8l/100km in city it's around 10l/100km, if you're driving like he does 11-12l/100km. I have a 300 for 2 years now and this is my experience.
What do you think about the new Cupra brand? A separate brand of Seat, like Abarth with Fiat... Is it a good move or not?

The limiter is still there. Your clock speed shows around 10 percent higher than actual. The limiter is set to actual. Same with my ex golf 5 gti. By factory 235 and clock showed 250.

The Cupra is much more "idiotproof" to drive, quite fast in corners. The Civic is the more fun car.

It is slower than 270 kmh. Here it gains speed because the road is not straight. On camera it doesnt seem that stable though.

I guess the speed limiter is more on the real side than the tachometer. The fastest i went with my 1.4 TSI FR 140 PS Leon was 236km/h on the tachometer which was 221 GPS measured speed. Still 10km/h more than the official registered speed. I love my Leon and would buy a newer (and more powerful) one anytime when my will become too old and unreliable. So far in 5 years nothing broke or had to be repaired. Very underrated car company :-)
Yes i love the Leon. The Polo will win on Speed as it has more HP and is lighter but the Leon will win in cool design and more space / bigger trunk so you have to decide (or check out Leon 1.8 TSI which also has 180HP) ^^
Exactly. They share the same base. Its called VW MQB. Skoda, Audi, VW and Seat use alot of the same parts.

this cupra is around 375,000 sek in sweden while a new gold R is 500:000 sek if i was shopping for a new hothatch i whould defenetly choose the cupra R

Nooo, there are also automatic but their number is smaller than the manual built.
300 hp with dsg and ST version, 310 hp with manual and HH version.
This car, the Cupra R, is amazing, i love this machine so, much better than other cars, like the price, much better than Mercedes or BMW, or last VW👍

2. The real question here is why DSG is limited to 300bhp? Cant it take more torque and power? Its is interesint because the first thing i would do is tune it to 350bhp and 430nm+
