Maaaaaaan. This is incredible. I was just listening Secret lover - Sade type beat | Smooth RNB beat, that was insane. Im just curious about how do you get bass and sax? Are you executing those instruments analogically? Or how you achieve those sounds? Your music is great brother.

Almost all of my music is in the box. I use FL studio native plugins and a lot of freeware. Most of my bass sounds are either taken from Flex VST or straight up Boobass (used it in Secret lover). Honestly I've been watching a lot of videos of bassists and drummers lately, because I always thought that my bass sucks :D. Regarding the sax, almost always the same free VST - DVS Saxophone (again used in Secrer lover), just different processing, although I always have a starter preset which I've created trough the years - distoriton, vocoder and reverb, always works. I like to play a lot with velocities and my M-audio Oxygen 49 helps a lot, because I rarely do tetris in the workstation. Otherwise most of the time I am making hip hop. Loooove piano and strings. Find it pretty hilarious that I offered Secret lover for 10 years to different artist for free and all passed. The thruth is I just like to play and so here am I... having a RNB pop channel and doing some music on the weekends.

Im dj and I think at this point of my life, is not enough just djing, I want to create. The thing is, I`ve spend 25 years hearing all kind of music, I'm passionate, but I dont know anything about production or play instruments :( I have no idea where to start!!!!! I would love understood everything you wrote. Also have the ability to achieve whole music ideas in my mind.
@@AmIdrivingok Well I don not own any "real" instruments. I use a so called digital audio workstation (DAW) - in my case this is FL studio. Inside FL studio there are many virtual instruments and drum samples that can be used, of course you can create or find other. To me only thing you need is enthusiasm and time spend on making music. Only in the recent years I've managed to buy some stuff, but even now most of the time all I need is some headphones and FL studio.
