- This interesting Model 5 is located behind the North Oldham fire station on a metal pole. Housing had horns added to it in an attempt to make the sound carrier further away. It sure looks funny. Sirens in Oldham County consist of of some 3T22's, a couple Model 5's and some 2001's. They are tested on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM. on the dot.
Well that's something you dont see every day! Nice job! Sounds good
That's an awesome video Austin!
Nice vid Burns! I can't wait for the 3T22 video tomorrow.
That's a new one for me; never seen a "Frankensteined" siren before...
Missed, but awesome video.
Nice Video. That is NOT something to be seen everywhere!
Nice video Austin!
Nice video! Interesting modification...wonder if those horns actually provide additional coverage.
I've heard from someone on UA-cam say that the horns push the sound more outward, so I would assume it does add coverage
Noice Video!
Reminds me of Eaton County’s EOWS Model 5.
Nice!
Just wandering if you know how loud a model 5 is compared to a whelen wps with 4 cells, technically "wps2904"
I don’t get the 3 minute cycle. Never heard of that. I only hear sirens in attack or at the longest a 30 second round
it looks like an sth 10 with small horns, an some missing
Great video!
i missed it but nice.
one horn missing
is this a sth-10 that was mix with a model 5?.
STL-10 + model 5 = what the heck is dat (I know what it is)
Do the Horns help any?
I've heard they do
Not very much when I heard it
🚨
Did an STH-10 fuse with it?
Hazza The Robot those are XT22 horns.
@@lilaj34siren Im pretty sure they aren't XT22 horns..
They're sentry horns
