METAL LOG from brake discs, sheet metal and weld!!

I have created a log from metal and weld!!
My customer had a restricted space to fit this owl into their home I needed a solution for a base that would be heavy/sturdy and small enough for it, a normal wooden log wouldn't work so why not just make one from metal !!
I have used classic mini brake discs, sheet metal off cuts and a motorcycle exhaust to create a metal log!

I use lots of different processes in my scrap metal sculptures to create the finished item the main type of welding I use is mig welding, there are some blacksmithing techniques that I regularly use along side more high tech equipment like the cnc plasma cutter.
I like to think I am able to maximise the appeal of my sculptures by using these different processes and that they result in better sculptures and with a bit of luck (and hours of learning how to edit) some good videos.
