Like you, I just watched the new intro/ outro sections. Love the way Fifteen referred to Sarah Jane so affectionately.
I notice the whole is only 76 minutes long- including the new bits- so they've shaved 26 minutes off the original running time. I wonder if they've done it in a way that picks the pace up...particularly in ep 2. Obviously some of the slack will be the lack of title sequences for each episode. (I'm not going to go and watch the lot to see what's changed, as I only watched it a couple of days ago).

We saw Suthek's new look already. It resembles the Egypt depictions and also the one in Classic Who (not the mask!) I don't think he really looks like a dog, but funnily enough Egyptologists also argued about that ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_animal )

Glad you saw the updated vortex was about to comment that you should see that lol but ye the main ncuti bit's were a tad underwhel;ming was hoping for more of a tease than just oh man we gotta stop him lol

It made me smile seeing Fifteen talk about Sarah Jane Smith, despite all the regenerations the Doctor is very much still the same person and he holds Sarah Jane so close to his hearts even now and that's so lovely, she was always really special to him and Ncuti's performance is wonderful! I'm wondering how this fits into Empire of Death, notably Ruby already knows about Sutekh here and neither her nor the Doctor are confused about the memory TARDIS so they clearly already know about it so this can't take place between episodes, maybe something will happen during Empire of Death where this scene slots in? I cannot wait!
Yeah, this must take place some point during Empire of Death or maybe just in between Legend of Ruby Sunday and Empire of death. Cant wait to watch it :)
@@HamzaReactz In the first Tales of the TARDIS The 5th Doctor states the Memory TARDIS is, well the Memory of a TARDIS, and in the newest episode of DW 15 says "What is a memory of a TARDIS" (Might have gotten some of the quotes slightly wrong but doesn't change what I am trying to say)
They also cut the Victoria mention for some reason.
Out of all tott this one was the most boring. My favourite will always be the time meddler one

I think they went alittle too far fetched with the cgi the original didn't look that doggy.
@@joshuajoshua2732The mask wasn't his face, though, pretty sure his face is the weird one that appeared in the TARDIS, while the Mask is more likely part of the prison

@@HamzaReactz Ig since they sadly couldn’t have Elizabeth Sladen in it also (for obvious reasons) it would’ve been odd to have Tom Baker there on his own? Idk, maybe they could’ve done it. I’m hoping that the reason they didn’t use him is bc he’s in the finale but maybe I’m just getting my hopes up.
Ah yeah I forgot about the fact he would have to do it on his own if he did. Would be nice to see him in Empire of death :)

I watched tales of the tardis last night for pyramids of mars. I wanted to watch it before watching your reaction to pryramids.
I used to love the story as a kid and the unmasked sutekh used to stop me from sleeping for some reason lol. I'm 31 now, and upon rewatching it, i have to admit its not that great of a story, and i kind of agree with everything you say in your reactions. Sutekh is cool as a hell, but in terms of his motivations as a villain, he's very bland. He is basically evil, just to be evil, which is kinda boring. The robot mummies used to scare me too, but i just found myself laughing when they strangled that guy with their boobies lol. I sort of wish now i had not rewatched it and just went in to empre of death off my nostalgia of him instead.
The 15 and Ruby scenes were very meh, i was hoping for a bit more, and i was sort of hoping they might surprise us with a Tom Baker cameo at the end, but nope. Looking forward to EOD though, i really hope we do get to see his humanoid form, and he's not just going to be a massive hell hound the whole episode.
I was expecting a bit more myself though what we got I thought was nice but I am guessing there's a reason as to why there isn't more in this instance!

No spoilers, and don't be a dick. That's funny. I lost interest after matt Smith's run. I started watching when Jon Pertwee was the doctor with the brigadier. The direction things have currently gone kinda makes me sick. Just my opinion.
