They are the GREATEST DUET I Have Ever Heard... LUCY is AMAZING!!! With Her Sister Martha, The two are UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I must listen to them both at least once a week if not more... They know that I do... I get Goosebumps and Tears when I hear them... I love the two!!!
After watching this video about 30 time something dawned on me !! Usually Lucy is always on the right side of the screen as we view and starts the songs off ......BUT...this time Martha is on the right side and Martha started the song off and appeared to be the lead singer in this duet !!! And we got to hear quite a bit of Martha by herself and man that girl can sing for only being 11 years old when this was recorded !!! WAY to go Martha !!! What a sweet heart she is !!! Lucy is just the best at what ever she sings !!!

Martha who is 11 here gets some free time to sing by herself and we get to see HER singing ability without being drowned out by Lucy Who we have seen is FANTASTIC !!! with her powerful voice and wide range and the substance, music in her voice !!! Good reaction !!! Any of those video songs they do are well worth the watch, as they show different aspects of their singing ability !!! Thanks !!
Lucy and Martha are like fallen angels. Not only their duets are more than perfect , the messages they convey is about : friendship, careness, altruism, faith in you and the others, follow the hard path as it is the right path ... Martha when this was recorded was but 11 years old !!! Yes 11 and Lucy was 17 !!! Amazing voices for their ages !!!! Lucy is the top singer and little sister Martha is following her, only she is 5 years behind !!! And Martha has not yet developed her adult voice, Their last release, THE CLIMB was released 8/20/2022 and is certainly worth the listen, different setting. they have 7 songs together and all are worth a listen. fantastic singers and harmony !!! !
The dynamics of sisters is unique and we raised 2 girls about 4 years apart and the older sister learns to be a mother with the younger sister and helps "take care" of little sister and the little sister looks up to the older sister, and they copy a lot from the older sister, notice the hair styles in ALL of Lucy's and Marthas songs together, Martha follows Lucy , and as they age the younger sister develops her own personality and it starts showing up and we see that here in this song Martha was given the lead, and Lucy took it easy on Martha and we see how Martha responded. In this song Martha got more involved, opened her mouth and belted out the song and the high five initiated by Martha and her huge smile from about one minute on shows her spunk. we saw the same thing in our two grand daughter sisters do the same thing. It is interesting to see this in sisters. Thanks for the react !!!
Any of the 7 songs those 2 girls have done together is well worth the watch, realizing the first 2 songs they did little Martha was only 10 years old !!! A challenge to sing with Lucy who is 5 years older , but Martha did it and with success !!
@@johnbattles1002 YES !!!! And having raised two daughters that were very close to each other it is easy to understand their bond and love. My two girls now are both middle aged and I have 4 grand daughters, 2 married and all older than Lucy and I saw the same thing in two of the sisters, the younger one follow and mimicked the older and as adults they too are still very close. I helps me to understand Lucy and Martha and they are just the cutest and best singers !!

I love these two singing together! What harmonies, WOW! They also do an excellent duet to the song "You Raise Me Up". They need to do more duets together, I can't get enough of them. And I love your reactions to this, they are so much fun to watch.
Cliff, haven't seen this one for a while and tears again. Lucy and Martha are beautiful in this one. And as usual, when then brought it back down to earth near the end I was totally wiped out. I can't listen to some of their renditions while driving because I cannot see the road. Amazing

Since I started to follow young talented singers in UA-cam , I am a big fan of Lucy Thomas ( and her sister Martha) and of a German singer called Patty Gurdy. The two are almost antithesis, but they are awesomes. They are not the most famous in UA-cam but , for me they are the best because they are talented, and charismatics. If you don't know Patty, check her cover of : over the hills and far away. You will understand my opinion🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
