Growing up, my family lived on the banks of a small creek in Oregon. The creek was about 50 yards from our house, with about 2 levels of 'bank' between us and the water, like stair steps. One winter, the creek started to flood. We were used to that happening, so weren't alarmed at first. Then something changed..... The water kept rising. Then, the creek decided to no longer follow the path it had been on for ages, and it started cutting in the opposite direction. We were helpless as the water got 40 yards from our house, then 30, as it ate away the first stair step of bank, then 20 as it ate away the second one.... We watched 30 and 40 foot tall fir trees get swallowed by the creek in it's rage, getting closer and closer to our house. By the time it stopped, the water was just under 10 yards from our house! It was insane! We got lucky. But just barely!
Decent video, no click bait, no BS, just things the way they really are, A welcome change, I will subscribe and please keep the great videos coming, thank you.
When he says 'this bridge was meant to let people cross the water', I kid you not, my mind was BLOWN.! 😳 Extra large blunt coming up to help me digest this info. 😎🖖
appreciating the lengthy vid, but does anyone know a channel that covers floods on a more scientific approach? Some of these comments were just incorrect, and i am not an expert.
10:56 absolute very intelligent when you put radioactive waste, lead and toxic poisons together in a gigantic pond 🤣🤣🤣 How dumb can humans be ? YES WE CAN !
5:56 ... "the excavator driver.... clearing debies from the road" How uneducated someone must be to not recognize that he was clearing the rainwater channel and not a road. Why the commentary on these videos?
You are off on some of your times & countries…mistaking Russia with US states…you can totally tell by vehicles, landscapes & building/home designs! Didn’t know Russia had palm trees 🌴🤔
Ya i'm pretty sure this was a man made damage.... reclaiming land by filling it in for for seaa side property like in Dubai. Of course its world wide however Dubai has to be in the the top 5. If you displace that much water it has to go somewhere. Pass it on make the word safer!
Great compilation of videos, awesome footage for sure, terrible narration though. If you don't know anything meaningful to say, better not say anything at all and let the clips speak for themselves. Listening to an educated person speak is one thing and can be illuminating. Listening to a person speak that merely thinks is educated, is quite insufferable. "A hurricane hits Switzerland...." Really?? It's stunning to watch a mudslide tossing a 20 ton boulder around like a golf ball though. The energy stored in water is truly mind boggling
The k in 'knight' and 'knife' used to be pronounced earlier in English, but not anymore. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Language and pronunciation evolves over time. For what its worth, I'm from England, and I do pronounce the 't' in tsunami, but I don't concern myself with unnecessary irks relating to the natural evolution of language. Try cheering up and worrying about something that matters.
Why is there no commentary about any of said dates to help look at tolls. monetary from said video??? zero research about the topic???? or playing UA-cam's algorithm?
Great videos, but so many of the comments are idiotic. @21:21 - Hurricane hits Switzerland to cause flooding? Do you have any concept as to what a hurricane is and how it is created? OMG. Be embarrassed at your lack of knowledge. That clip was from Antarctica!
Your video feels like a front-row seat to the unstoppable forces of Earth. Exceptional!
This happens when we build in the path of natural water flow.
Despite it can be dry for years, nature will always take back what's hers.

WTF? So many people around and no one could untie the dog?
бессмысленная жизнь бессмысленные поступки
seems like that, ye
Water can be just as devastating as fire? No 😂 water is more devastating than fire. It’s the greatest force on earth.

Nature is extremely devastatingly, chaoticly gorgeous! Mesmerizing as well.
And with nature you mean man-made climate change, a lot more "nature" coming this century, guaranteed.

With respect to the builders of the container bridge
omg tell the narrator to shutup. He isnt adding anything to the videos. Just ruining them,
now you can add valencia dana floods
The water can be a little mesmerizing, but also deadly. I feel for the people who lost their homes and the land with it, thanks.
There is no such thing as a miraculous disaster.
The 2004 earthquake and mega-tsunami disaster devastated almost the entire Aceh Province.

good video
Video great ❤❤❤❤
химтрейлы и неверная инженерия
Wow so timing 😮😮😮😮
Why are the waves at the Ganges river so random?
I wish I could witness something like this in real life. Incredible timing!
You will, a century of man-made climate change is on the schedule, all predicted 40 years ago..
H A A R P
Embarkment?
We need better systems in place to respond to Natural Disaster events.
Or stop man-made climate change perhaps?

right right, and blame the poor pool engineering 👍🤣🤣🤣

Only a fool build hos house at the waters edge, or on the mountain side.
Asphalt and concrete do not absorb water many small water courses have been deviated to accommodate whitemen visions so ya pay the price
You might be right there about the floods. My bathtub overflowed the other night for no good reason! I am not making this up!

"plan your beach vacation carefully ....." such a bullshit
8:24.....what part of the Caribbean is this.....looks like Virginia or some where state side, and all the WHITE people are talking English.
See sad never heard about this in America
People laughing at the sight of houses, bridges, roads being swept away, what a complete fuck up humanity is ...
It could also be just nervous laughter, some people deal with stuff like that and that that Manor
Are Americans really not capable to call it a TSunami instead of Sunami. There is a T in front. Tststs. It's not so hard, like it's.
Are you referencing the spelling or pronunciation?

Natural disasters are a warning from Allah SWT for humans to return to His path.
End times from Bible Jesus literally talk about all if this exactly
Yeah they said that 2000 years aho so I guesss it must be any time now .
