The unarmed combo stun extensions in this game are so dumb...the idea that you can fully stunlock someone for a legit buy in melee weapons hit worth of damage and extend that stun so far that all weapons will reload for an immeidate stagger followup is pretty clearly broken.
Sorry if it's not to your liking, but it's an in-game mechanic and we melee mains just utilize it as best we can. It's not like i can execute the combo willy nilly myself, it took a LOT of practice for me to even get here, hundreds of hours spent practicing. And even then, there's still a lot of builds out there that could beat me effortlessly, even more so if i don't squeeze my all into piloting this build.
@@vulnerablerummy its not the combo that i dislike, its that a weapon with no buy in is so efficient, its imbalanced in that it does so much with no en or weight. Hopefully it gets leveled either on damage or number of extensions in the future. Not working vs certain builds is kinda the story of that game its not strictly rps but every build struggles against something.
@@matthewdavis2593 i respect your opinion but, it's not doing so much outside of a staggered enemies. try punching a lamm or a lw, or even hw that goes vertical (if they don't brush it off and trades you with higher dmg/impact instead). it's mainly a punish weapon that deals low to moderate dmg. if they want to nerf something, i'd rather they nerf a more blatantly busted stuffs, like lamm legs or ps shield (tho tbh i prefer they buff the non-meta weapons/shields)
@@vulnerablerummy agreed...heavies are quite imbalances at the moment. I think lam could be nerfed by lowering the level cieling and making their hmmr and explosive thrower attacks deadicated full body anims instead of blends. The punch thing is just insanely oppresive vs builds that already struggle in the meta
