Shooting the cannon turrets in the barrel instead of the front armor plating will result in a one-shot kill from the front. This also works for the tanks that use them, though notably it does not work against the shredder tank's turrets
That Jammer tower having the fab attached was the perfect setup. And that moment at 18:40 is a valuable lesson for everybody to never, under any circumstance, look into the eyes of a factory strider.
So as an aspiring higher difficulty diver, lessons to be learned here: - The jump pack is really good, bring it. - Only take fights that you have to take. - Radar and pins are powerful tools, use them.
As an addendum, the last point is only valid if you run something like the Trailblazer armor with the Scout perk that allows map pings to act like radar
If there is a SEAF Artillery especially on bots, I like to put a smoke in as the last one for a safe extraction. Really cool since you can also use it after the timer hit 0.
Nice. I tried a similar loadout with a crossbow instead, took walking instead of laser. Mostly just because I wanted to get a feel for it, but it seems to clear enemies from bases with a bit more reliability than the 380, which was my other go-to. It does have much more risk of catching you in the blast since they changed it, though, can't drop it at your feet anymore. Between the crossbow, thermite, and quasar, I was spoiled for choice on how to wipe fabs, and I performed fairly well against everything else too. For bugs I tried crossbow, bushwhacker, and regular MG, plus thermites paired with an Engineering Kit light armor. Cluster does very well to delete large swarms, thermite is General Brash's gift to divers, MG's great for wiping patrols from 200m out, bushwhacker's great for when you need to reload but have to pick off just a few more bugs to do so safely. Note that this bug loadout is NOT tested on 10, it was 7 at the highest and it wasn't solo. Will test it further but in the meantime YMMV.
@@irradiatedslagheap7933 thanks for sharing this, i'm planning to cover the new walking barrage in the next video, really curious how it performs after the changes.

There's not enough chatter in the comments about that jump into the Pelican at the end. Too smooth. Also it's really interesting to see the pattern of the bots when they can't see you laying prone by extraction. I wonder if they changed the "intelligence" of the bots after extraction is called in, because I swear in the past you've done the same maneuver and they've still went in guns blazing even though there isn't any way they should have pinned your location. Great dive as always. Glad you're backing to dropping in on the regular!
True, in the past they did notice me a few times, but i think it's because i either moved or wasn't hidden well enough. Late game patrols(after you complete the main objective) have crazy high awareness. They'll hear you fart from a mile away 🤣
meanwhile i destroy 1 fab and suddenly i have 600 bots, 3 gunships and 4 dropships on my ass.. well played sir, i wish i knew how to pull this off since i love stealth-ish gameplay.
@@Sarge94 you were prone, but still managed to get the strategem all the way to the drop ships. They were over the far wall, right? I rewound it thinking you did the dive-chuck because you got some real distance.
that's awesome dude do u have any tips to determine optional objectives location on the map (and super sample rock if there're any) without radar station? I only remember some like seaf artillery and radar one
Where is all the enemies? I ran helldive and the entire match had 1000s of enemies, including striders, dozens of gunships shooting at me the entire time. Can you explain?
Sure. I run scout armor, which has lower detection rate, allowing me to sneak past the enemies i don't want to engage. It also has an in-built radar system, so whenever i ping the map i can see the bots from afar, including patrols. If i choose to fight, i always try to target small enemies first, as they're the ones capable of calling reinforcements. Being accurate while engaging really pays off, as every missed shot can reach other enemies past your target, which leads to chaotic fights. In case things go south and they call a dropship, i usually look for a safe route to disengage with the jetpack. On difficulty 10, enemies can call reinforcements once every ~2 minutes, so if i want to clear a bigger objective without having to worry about dropships, i usually bait them out at a different location first (notice how i shoot above the base at 2:53 and they pop a flare right after, allowing me to clear the fortress without a single dropship) That's pretty much it, i hope it helps.
Solid run, but I must say that I was hoping AH would have either added new missions or variant forms of existing mission objectives. The hardest thing about watching your videos is that we've seen everything already and there just isn't much beyond your gameplay. I don't mean to be rude, I just really am wanting new content for this game and I feel like we haven't gotten anything substantial in months.
You're absolutely right, new content is key. Hopefully it comes soon, the game has huge potential, it would be a shame to just waste it. DSS gives me hope, they've been talking about clan missions a while ago.

You think you could still pull this off with random(s) in your squad? I feel like it would add difficulty but then again, you might find a way to make it work in your favor.
Im not entirely sure, but if I were to wager a guess: They’re using armor with the scout passive which causes your map pings to shows nearby enemies. Bot fabricators appear as heavy unit on the radar (big red circle.) If there is a fabricator attached to the base of a radar jammer, destroying it destroys the jammer. They pinged the map to look for fabricators they could destroy.
The layout already looked familiar, but i still wanted to make sure by pinging it. When i saw a big red dot next to the icon(which represents heavies or fabs), i knew that's the one you can destroy without going in. Btw pinging with scout armor from over 150m away will show you only fabs on the minimap, its really useful.
