Hey man, just played the MTU version and some other side-by-side AI mods. Turns out that if I have more than 3 factions support legitimacy at turn 1, I would be sandwiched by everybody. The Zhong Emperor trigger for Yuan Shu didn't help that much as it also means that the emperor is fighting you, through crippling your economy. I'm not allying with Liu Bei as I prefer the semi-historical route. Usually, I would wait until Lu Bu revolt and take Liu Bei's lands. The best thing I could do is to postpone the max legitimacy trigger event until I squashed Cao Cao. Difficult but not impossible. Would like to see you do one with the semi-historical route.
