It is a job! What are these people talking about. I work my reselling 8-10 hours a day. The difference is that I like it and I can work when I want. And I'm not working for someone else who doesn't really care about me.
Dave, if you have a Costco nearby they sell these clear bins made by a company called green made that are excellent. They sell them in a pack of three they’re less than $20 for the pack of three. I use them myself. Nice snap together lids very durable for the price.
I store my plush exactly the same way you do. It works out great for me. Sell those comics. Also stay home and catch up so you can source like crazy with CVA Thrifts.
I am in the same boat, love to source but I really need to list. Also just got a case to sell at the Brass Armadillo starting Monday, April 1st. My friend Teresa looks forward to your podcast with Kerry and Kevin. Love watching your you tube videos. And yes, listen to your "wise wife"!!
Love your videos Dave. Vendooblooks great, unfortunately for us downunder theres nowhere to cross list too 🤣 Would be nice if Aussie got more eCommerce options like our friends in America 🤙
I think it’s good that the kids have negotiated like this and the life lessons they have learned in the process has so much value. Callie is learning too by watching those two. My two have always just negotiated over toys or games lol the younger one hasn’t been cleaver enough to con the older one into getting the bigger room yet lol 😂 you got three little genius’s there Dave lol better stay on ya toes lol
Try listing a few of your comics at the price you think they would get if graded, minus the grading cost, and see how they do. You can always accept offers also.
Love you and your family. So cool the room buying thing. Lessons learned early is always helpful for the future. looking foward in seeing mama picker in the next video
Hey Dave, been watching for a while commented a few times I think you should sell them to someone that wants to get them graded and go for the high🎉est dollar that you can get without being graded and then lower the price a little for a bundle and let them do the grading. so you’re getting almost top dollar, without paying the extra for the grading but you’d have to find one buyer that wants a lot of them.which I think you can do. That’s just my two cents but you also have the knowledge. Good luck my friend.😁
I have been delving into comic books and autographs from some consignment customers. Have not had any items graded. So much time and hassle in my opinion. I disclose- and have free returns. Nothing has come back. Customers are getting a good buy, I flip for a good profit and everyone is happy!
MCM.....etc. on the back of the plastic/resin decor isn't a brand, it's Roman Numerals for the year it was made (MCM being 1900). Most of that stuff is from the 1970's and early 80's, and the brand is usually Burwood or Syroco.
Dave, why don’t you stack the fancy bears in a designated area off the main shelf and prioritize the faster-selling ones to optimize your display space. Just a thought.
If the comics are from that original purchase, you should absolutely get them graded. The condition on those were fantastic. Don’t let your fears cost you cash. You already have the knowledge, you’ve been through the process. Use that knowledge.
Awesome buy on that plush! Those are the kind of finds everyone dreams of! And you do have a job, Dave but you get to decide where, when, how, etc. and don't really answer to anyone (except maybe Tina now and then). I see it like this, if you're paying taxes on money you earn you have a job but in your case it's just not a crappy job that you hate 😉
The Japanese pepper shakers you want to watch for occupied Japan and Nippon. Those are the older ones. My grandmother had ones that said occupied Japan when the US went into Japan.
Yes what you do and many of us do is work and a Job!!! I work pretty hard finding stuff trying to get the best deals ect. The listing seems to take me some time though maybe to much of a perfectionist lol.I do enjoy finding great stuff, sometimes I pay to much but I'm learning from you and a few others. So thank you for sharing, I enjoy every video 😊😁♥️
I'm glad you like Vendo because I have nothing but problems with them. I have to do a complete inventory review because they did not mark things sold as they were supposed!
You have a job and you do very well at it . Being able to always be present for your family is wonderful. Ignore the jealous people. Love you videos ❤❤❤❤❤😊
I have several sets of vintage Japan salt n pepper shakers up on ebay right now. Plenty of watchers but I guess they are afraid to make offers. Haven't sold a set yet. Been 3 weeks
Vendu - hopefully it updates and auto delists items that sell across all platforms?!?! - waiting for this to happen to try it out (What Not integration would be awesome as well!)
That boy is too smart!! He thought to SELL his birth right??? I LOVE IT!! May we ask what this cost Anna? What is the going rate on the “big room” these days??? Love your youngens guys!
Can you create a listing in Vendoo? Because you can actually create a listing in List Perfectly and then just cross list directly in the moment. That seems like it would save time, money and create faster sales. Just curious.....
Definitely should grade, per comic, even with pressing is 50ish. It also depends on what comics. There are sites you can look at at see graded sale history.
First, don't refund anyone immediately Dave. If tracking missing info on eBay, check the direct site shipped on. Info should be visible there. 2nd, how often do you come across comics in gradeable condition? Exactly, almost never. Send the ones worth grading out and take the extra $1000, patience is a virtue! Don't be penny wise and dollar foolish. Maximize your comic find, it is rare to come across the opportunity. You were lucky to have been called for a personal pick. Waiting an extra month, won't kill you 😊
Spending $100 to profit an extra $100 is not really worth it to me. Especially since you could probably invest that $100 into inventory that'll probably have a higher return. You're also taking the risk that it doesn't come back as at least a 7.
Hey Dave, question... who is the best company to use for grading? I've got some extremely old Mickey mouse (1st Edition) but crappy condition comics and the original Donald duck / WW2 comics. None of them are in great condition, but obviously, they would be worth a lot more, graded. But i don't know how to do this. Any thoughts?
Former wal-martion stocker here. We would receive boxes of sterlite broken from DC. Threw out more than put for sale. Horrible product. Skip them and go for Hefty. Not usually brand loyal but time and resources are valuable.
If you do all that effort shipping to get them pressed and wait all that time, to make 100 dollars...nope not worth it to me. It needs to be multiple 100s of dollars per book for me to go through all that extra hassle.
Okay, you asked, but I am a qualification. First separate out the comics that should be graded, and send some into be graded. Then, list the rest. Really, you don't want to leave possibly $100s on the table.
I think you should look at you members differently. I look at it as paying for entertainment and knowledge. Not as I'm donating to help support you and your family. You don't need help you're doing good.
Haha Get a Job! I am betting you are working harder than you did when you had a job. You just enjoy it more and it doesn’t feel like it. Trust me, many of us wish we were in your situation! Have a great weekend!
You are a good Dad. Letting the kids learn the value & reward of earning a dollar. So very important.
The original price of that Chuck E. Cheese plush was probably $250 because the amount the parents spent to win enough tickets to get it 😂

When I get that line, get a "job" I reply with, "and what, be miserable like your sorry a**?"
You got a in 2024 Hard Job!
Hope momma’s kitties are all well!
Love your videos Dave.

Unless you are going to be a comic seller with constant inventory, I would just list and flip that comics and move onto the next buy :)
Love you and your family. So cool the room buying thing. Lessons learned early is always helpful for the future.

16:07 yessss chucky sells!!! I just sold a hard plastic one for good money ❤❤❤
That's awesome that your daughter is buying your sons bedroom.. genius 😂
LOL awesome Dave!!! You ARE the "plush master" for sure as you say!🤣 Your obsession with plush paid off big time😂👏👏

Oh come on Dave, you have a job! You're a reseller!
Get a job ?? I think you work harder than anybody else i see on here ,So many different channels ebay, what not , all your other ways to sell .
That first big lot of comics I would for sure get at least the majority graded. I put eBay on my resume which has helped me trying to get something.
The Japanese pepper shakers you want to watch for occupied Japan and Nippon. Those are the older ones. My grandmother had ones that said occupied Japan when the US went into Japan.
You don’t love when people sell your information and you get bombarded with calls? Lol I love it too hahaha
I made that mistake one time. Omg I got like 30 calls in about an hour! 😳
Yes what you do and many of us do is work and a Job!!! I work pretty hard finding stuff trying to get the best deals ect. Reseller Leftovers made it to the ADHDave Show! Thanks Dave!
You need to use straight sided bins saves space
My biggest struggle as well! Would probably help of I quit my full time job that I hate… 😂😂
Maybe you should source this weekend, but since you don't NEED to source, be super picky, like golf clubs
I have several sets of vintage Japan salt n pepper shakers up on ebay right now. Plenty of watchers but I guess they are afraid to make offers. Haven't sold a set yet. Been 3 weeks
Get the comic books graded. They have significantly more value it's worth the extra effort.
I think staying home and catching up is a good idea! Listing some comics will be beneficial to you!
Love plush. Chuckie is a no brainer. 😂 Highest I’ve gotten on one is $350. Paid $3
Mine was Snuffles from Gund and FAO Millennium Bear.
Vendu - hopefully it updates and auto delists items that sell across all platforms?!?! - waiting for this to happen to try it out (What Not integration would be awesome as well!)
That boy is too smart!! He thought to SELL his birth right??? I LOVE IT!! May we ask what this cost
Anna? What is the going rate on the “big room” these days??? Love your youngens guys!
Kat the nurse flipper just posted a research video on valuable salt and pepper shakers.
Dave, there's two UA-cam people who are well versed in when to you should slab the book. Bry's Comics and Very Gary
What kind of printer do you use?
Erase the comic books from your mind and think if you were at the flea market, would you pay $100 for a $300 item? - Chris
Nice Chucky Cheese PLUSH sale!!! BOLO GALORE!!! GREAT PICK!
Hello Dave from Arizona 🌵
If you cross list will it tell you if you have already cross listed the item alread?
Can you create a listing in Vendoo? Because you can actually create a listing in List Perfectly and then just cross list directly in the moment. That seems like it would save time, money and create faster sales. Just curious.....

Comics: Do you want the fast nickle or the slow dime?

You might want to reach out to Prime Time Treasure Hunter and ask his opinion as he is well versed in comics.
How did you get that much for the chunky cheese rat? I looked on eBay and solds are at like $40
You have a job and you do it well!!!

It cost $180 for enough paint for a bedroom?
The hunt is indeed one of the best parts of picking
LIST THOSE COMICS DAVE!
Former wal-martion stocker here. We would receive boxes of sterlite broken from DC. Threw out more than put for sale. Horrible product. Skip them and go for Hefty. Not usually brand loyal but time and resources are valuable.
What’s the highest price plush you’ve sold? Well done on the rat!
I am by no means an expert, but if you can sell those comics for a profit and you have a good sense of their worth, MOVE THAT INVENTORY😃
If you do all that effort shipping to get them pressed and wait all that time, to make 100 dollars...nope not worth it to me. It needs to be multiple 100s of dollars per book for me to go through all that extra hassle.
If you aren't going to the the money back that you spent for the grading plus what the book goes for raw I wouldn't do it.
