From the album JIAOLONG by Daphni. Vinyl / CD: www.mergerecords.com/jiaolong Download: apple.co/1WqpUwa Stream: spoti.fi/1T5I03L Video by: Jane Eastlight / janeeastlight
This tune was playing the first time I dropped an Ecstasy Pill at the warehouse project in Manchester. As I came up I felt this song literally flowing through me. Was incredible.
i was sent here by a Brujo while we were tripping on mescaline. he said i need to find that groove that has been eluding me for the past few years, and tap into its source. unfortunately, the groove here was too strong, and i am now stuck in limbo, my atoms firing to the very groove that displaced me. if a Brujo ever tells you to 'find the groove', start with something light.
listened to this wired at a house party in Salford at 6am. bliss. and walked under Thelwall Viaduct tonight where there was a huge free party I went to 2 years ago that was attended by 3000 beautiful people. who said times/house music can never be good as what Madchester and the 90's brought? we're just branching off kids!!
I bought this album, didn't really like it. haven't listened to it for 6 months. started partying over the summer hard, all around the UK. heard this dropped and recognised it. Now it's finally come full circle, just got the track ID. and I'm cracking out this album. amazing how your tastes in music can change, as a result of the clubs/djs you listen to!
yeah.. maybe also because it became more familiar. The more familiar songs are, the more likely you'll enjoy it. Its a good reason why people tend to flock away from experimental stuff and towards relatively unoriginal and generic stuff
cragnog yeah.. maybe also because it became more familiar. The more familiar songs are, the more likely you'll enjoy it. Its a good reason why people tend to flock away from experimental stuff and towards relatively unoriginal and generic stuff and end up thinking that someone like Russell Brand is a person worth following on youtube, rather than the complete bellend he so obviously is.
rotrot 27 lol, that was surreal. I like the trews man. Get off ma case you freaky stalker. Its genuinely weird that you looked through my profile/page/channel thing and then came back here just to say that.
cragnog Just think it's funny you can slate others for tending towards the "unoriginal and generic", when you yourself tend towards the unoriginal and generic. Hardly surreal. And since when was responding to comments on threads stalking? You responded to TheBenchPressMan. Was that stalking?
rotrot 27 I wasn't implying that daphni was unoriginal and generic if thats what you're getting so ruffled about? Anyways, if my original reply was so unoriginal and generic then so are you comments. Especially calling Russle Brand a bellend.. that has to be the most sheepish and cliche thing these days. To write a reply to this dudes comment isn't to stalk him as I didn't have to go check out his profile, who he subscribed to etc. like you did with me. You actually went and found out random info on me to flame me. Calling that stalking is obviously a jokey exaggeration. I don't get your motivation. Did you think I was being a dick by implying there are unoriginal and generic songs out there that nevertheless are very popular? I think Miley Cyrus's "wrecking ball" is a great example of that. No one gave a shit about the song at first but because its provocative video made it so goddam relevant for so long, people started really treating it as some kind of classic anthem. Anyway, back to the original point - I just wanted to offer TheBenchPressMan a possible explanation for how he could come to love this song. I myself think this song kicks ass.
this was emptied all over Hideout this year. Tune of the festival for myself and it has taken months to find it......God bless bless the poster of this beast!
Hey there, have you ever seen this? soundcloud.com/floatingpoints/floating-points-four-tet-final-plastic-people-2-1-2015 Here they actually play that song, and then mix this one in. I'm super confused always...
does anyone else feel like there in the 80's! i love this! i feel like i'm in a dim lit night club trying to hide the fact that everyone around me including myself is high off his ass on coke with way to much moose in our hair wearing a blazer with the sleeves pushed up! or am i the only one?
This is my favourite track of all time. Daphni took samples from this track: ua-cam.com/video/7fnTxm1u_34/v-deo.html You can clearly haer the similarities.
