@@kalundra9345 No, they are very close and similar price as long as the same grade (Iridium, double platinum, platinum, Copper). I will go with Iridium that cost about $10 a peace and can last more than 120k Miles. It is important for V6 transverse engines since it is costly to remove the intake manifold to get the rear 3 cylinders.

@@kalundra9345 Yeah i am not argueing with that. 2 NGK Plugs already failed me. And i am talking about their so called iridum laser series after 20.000 miles

My suggestion is to only buy them at the dealer, since this video was made some of the knock-offs now look exactly like the real thing. They last over 100,000 so why save $20 - $30 and risk ruining your engine?

The significant differences between fake spark plugs (in my case, this is DENSO SC20HR11 IRIDIUM) from the original are as follows. The central electrode did not have a laser-welded iridium washer/cylinder, and the side electrode had a stamped imitation of a "welded" resistance welding disk. These differences between the fake spark plugs and the genue spark plugs can only be seen using a binocular microscope.

We have a group chat trying to identify some fake plugs, specially IQ24s where I received one with gold terminals and they have other colored terminals as well as some suspect laser marking and differences in our stamps

    Hello may i ask this?
Do you manufature denso product in your country? If yes, do you make from scratches or you just assemble in your country using the parts from japan? And do you write "made in japan" or made in your country..?
    I hope you understand.
    Thankyou..

just recieved some iridium ik20l 5358 plugs... they Seem legit, no odd gapping, proper packaging, iridum tip looks like the darker metal and very fine... BUT the welds on the curved electrode are Atrocious, I mean on some of them Im actually worried about even risking installing these lest the electrodes fall off!.. Looked like they were welded by some kid in his 1st welding class..I was expecting beautiful HQ welds on the iridium especially... is this normal and just a bad batch maybe?

Hi @Skip741 x, Thanks for your message. Our manufacturing process includes some pretty vigorous testing and zero child labour, so if the weld looks dodgy then something is amiss. Send us some photo's (via www.denso.com.au or our FB page), we will take a look and let you know.

Hi Kamrul, It's difficult to assist without knowing all the details, but to begin we'd suggest visiting our website and entering in all of your vehicle details to ensure you have the correct plug for the application. Vehicle modifications can also alter the plug you should use, and also if the car is used daily or for racing.

Unfortunately, the effort to replicate the plugs is only superficial. The best bet is to always buy through authorised channels (visit denso.com.au for a list of where to buy).
