Hey brother, I have an 09 lmm and it's leaking coolant from bell housing and motor connection above the oil cooler. Shop said it's oil cooler. Wondering if yours leaked in same area? Confused bc its leaking from connection of bell housing and motor, right above cooler.
I've got a 2018 L5P that leaks oil from where the oil filter gasket meets the oil cooler, if I run my finger over the mating surface I can feel a groove, it was cut wrong and no matter how hard you screw on the oil filter it leaks, Team Chevrolet won't cover it under warranty, truck is 2 months out of general warranty but only has 29000 miles on it, GM sucks...
Yea that blows. I wish there were more options for good diesel trucks but there just isn’t. Ford, ram, and Chevy. They make them so cheap. My GF just got an Audi Q5 and those German cars are so far superior than most anything in America.
@@705jrock Yeah, you say that until something breaks or fails and have to pay that bill. They really aren't far superior. Those cars are over priced junk.

Mine continued to leak after I get done it ended up being a small hose above the oil cooler.
Did you have to dump all the coolant to remove the oil cooler?
Yup. Not all the oil tho.

@2015_Rubicnn they are pretty awesome cars, but they are definitely overpriced for working on them that's for sure.
Was your leak causing oil to get into the coolant reservoir?
No it wasn’t.
But I ended up doing this for no reason the leak ended up being a hose on top of the motor above the cooler.

@@brandonw7169 it was like on top on the ride side towards the back somewhere can’t remember exactly.
@@705jrock was it hard to get that hose replaced ?
