    In 2021 if you can get an open box deal off Ebay for around $400 it is worth the try for a beginner or someone on a tight budget. You would have to learn to live with lag video feed on the remote.

    • @YouRock-WeDrone
      @YouRock-WeDrone  2 роки тому

      Honestly, the lag might be there but it's so minimal you won't notice it unless you fly far away.

    I have a Spark, which I haven't been using much, I live in the city so it's difficult to find spots to send it. There is currently a Mavic Air Combo at Fnac for 599€, the Mini 2 Combo is a tad cheaper but obstacle avoidance is a must for me (also could be a bummer because of these alarms all the time), so, should I get the the Air Combo at this price tag? Or get the Air 2? Also how did you get those reddish propellers, they are really stylisshh?

    • @YouRock-WeDrone

      Sorry for the late reply. The red propellors are low noise propellors and they come in all sort of colors: amzn.to/2Pb8xE5

    In your opinion, do you think this drone would be good for roof inspections? I'm looking to get something that won't break the bank as a tool for work (home inspections) and something I can have fun with in spare time. I'm a big car fan and would love to take it to car meets. I think it would be fine for work and getting close up views of a roof but I also know nothing about drones haha. Thanks for your video.

      Well, I just realized it doesnt have a zoom function. I may just pay the extra and get the new version. But there is an original Air for sale for 425 with a ton of accessories:(

    • @YouRock-WeDrone
      @YouRock-WeDrone  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, I think it would be good for that. I know you're interested in the zoom, but if size is also a factor you might want to look into the DJI Mavic Mini 2. Very portable and might suit your roof inspection needs. amzn.to/2Xx60aS

    • @YouRock-WeDrone
      @YouRock-WeDrone  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, for zooming and not breaking the bank I would look into the DJI MAvic Air 2S because it has super high video quality (5.7K) which means if you only need to inspect stuff and see it at 1080p, then you can zoom in 4 times digitally and still not loose any resolution. amzn.to/3D4p7cA
      If you really want to zoom, you might want to consider the Mavic 2 Zoom, but that goes more into breaking the bank category: amzn.to/3z4sMom

      @@angelgotti3273 FCC mode is what American uses for its air space , in drone terms it allows a stronger signal to go to our Drones because in Europe and the UK we are in ce mode which is not as strong so you can't go as far out with your drone . I've bought an English version of the Mavic air but have done a simple hack to make it think it's in the USA so I get full signal . Hi Rick, thanks for the kinds words. "Entry level Drone", I know it's a controversial term. What's "entry" about $500 - $800? LOL I call them that because the "pro" versions of the DJI drones (eg: Mavic 2 Pro) have much better cameras and therefore cost double that.
      YES, the DJI Mini is good, but the DJI Mini 2 is great! So if you could save up a bit more, or can find a used one, I would definitely go for the DJI Mini 2.

    And it is quite noisy. Much more than the Air 2.

      Yes good point. It really is. You can combat that a little bit with “quiet propellors” for an extra $22 on Amazon. However, it’s still louder then the Mavic Air 2. Much cheaper though :)
