Great video! I'm taking time with my purchase because I have saved for 2 years in order to obtain the car I so desire. Your video was very informative, and helped me realize certain features that are conducive to my drive in Colorado, as well as some must haves. Salesmen don't take the time to learn the vehicle, and understand it's features in order to seal the deal the way you've done. Thank you for your thoroughness.
Just bought an identical 2013 in gray a few days ago and absolutely love it! A massive step up in luxury and features from my 2011 F150 XLT i traded in!
bought my 2013 gs awd 350 june 15 2020 paid 21000 new was 62000 was 1 owner all service done by lexus it had 67000 miles dark blue or whats called mica black interior awesome car love it really fast in s+ mode will have it forever
Great question. The Non-FSport GS has wood trim as a standard feature. I don't believe I've ever seen a GS without wood trim unless it was an FSport. Thanks for the question. Brock
The only GS that have the wood steering wheel are the ones with the luxury package like this one. They have a glossier black wood and rear seat controls
WoW! Nice ride! Interestingly they get the same horsepower out of this V6 that my 2002 GS 430 had. Currently I have a 2011 ES 350 that I purchased in 2014 as a CPO with 22k miles. While not the luxury of this car by no means, it's been a great car. Question. I'm always a little concerned with all the bells and whistles. I drove my 2002 GS for 12 years with no major problems except radio got funky in last couple of years, but other than that, not much. In fact I was shocked that the AC was NEVER opened up until I'd had it nearly 11 yrs, and had to replace the entire system. But who cares. I've never had a car prior to that with AC that went that long. Does Lexus expect this car or one like it to be driven that long with all the features it has?
The seat padding is too firm. I’ve found relief by raising seat where hips are and lowering seat where knees are. This took pressure off back. Also, seatback can’t be straight up or too far back. Good luck!
Good car, but like all new cars, too many bullshit gadgets that will inevitably crap out, also I'll pass on the all wheel drive nonsense. It's really one of the few v6 cars I would buy, no way I'm changing plugs on a sideways v6. Typically they flat out suck to work on.
That's for auto parking brake. When auto parking is on, shifting to P engages the parking brake and shifting from P to any other gear, disengages the parking brake!
Its 2020 and this car is still handsome
its 2023 and I just bought a 2013 with 112k on it, still looks, feels, and drives like/better than most new cars
@@brbryyyyy94 how much was it. I’m trying to get one myself
@@brbryyyyy94 How is it holding up?

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I am glad I could help you!
Ditto this comment, this was very thorough! 👍🏾

Good to hear. I'm actually in the market now to buy a 2013-15 GS within the next few wks. Have you had any issues with it yet?
Do u still have it?
Your videos empowered me to make my purchase confidently last year. 2015 GS350 fsport. Atomic silver over red. Keep up the great work!
How do u like it? Is it fast?
Just got one and I’m impressed years later . Don’t forget to try out the display monitor awesome
Thanks for this vid. I just bought up a 2013 GS350 last week. Your video was a good primer on it.
Does this car have adaptive cruise control? If not, when did the GS get it?
Your videos are consistently very well thought out. Thanks.
It's 2024 and I WILL GET ONE EXACTLY LIKE THIS 💪🏽💯 WHITE TAN INTERIOR BEAUTIFUL ❤️ 2013 WAS A INCREDIBLE MODEL STILL TODAY 2024 🏋🏽🏋🏽🏋🏽🏋🏽🏋🏽
Just got a black one. Cars beautiful

I wish this interior was available on the F sport version! Much nicer
Nice illustration. Thank you sir!
That interior color with atomic silver paint would be nice. Not a fan of the white exterior
Are non F-sport GS350's without the wood trim wheel rare? All of the ones I've seen have the wood trim wheel.

HowToCarGuy I own a gs without wood on the steering wheel ands it's not a f-sport

This one has a nicer interior than the F sport.
Explained this perfectly, thank you 🙏🏽
Got one 2 weeks ago.. ♥️
CONGRATULATIONS! Super nice car!
Bought a 450h, my dream car this summer. Congrats on your GS!
Is there supposed to be a light in the glovebox?
Yes, but it lights up after the car is in „accesory“ or „on“
Is the 2013 base model similar to the 15 ?
I'm noticing my 2015 looks more like the 2013
Idk
The 2015's are identical to the 2013's. 2016 was the first year of the refresh which I have a 2016 F-Sport.
Thank you! You saved my life
What dealership do u work at
This is the same with GS 250 right
Waiting for the day when car salesmen stop saying you can change the oil every 10,000 miles.
You can, fact.
Changing early of course does harm what so ever

The GS 350 does not disappoint. I absolutely love mine. This car gets to 0-60 in a much faster time than my Cadillac STS V8 2007 could do.
Great introduction
Lexus do this joint!!!💯💯
Love your comment!! 😁
Can I buy from Nigeria
Yes
Thanks for the video
Does the wood wheel come with the 2015 models? I can't find any online. Is the wood wheel apart of a package. I'm looking to buy in a few weeks.
Sezro *weaks; lurn hau 2 speel ityit
Hmm as far as I know (speaking for Europe) you will have to look for a „full luxury“ model or „Excellence“ on other markets
Thank you.
Ours has a parasitic draw, battery is dead all the time plus the seats are very uncomfortable. Have this 2013 GS. Wanted to love it, but do not!
Have u had any luck with the seat comfort? Just bought a 2013. Love the car but back is hurting!!!
@@staceyscheb3928 nope, worst seats ever!

Question ... what is the auto button right above the parking break to the bottom right of the steering wheel
That's for auto parking brake. When auto parking is on, shifting to P engages the parking brake and shifting from P to any other gear, disengages the parking brake!
