So frustrating! Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts, I will be looking forward to your new vlogs once you get rejuvenated and back on an upswing! I am a new poker player doing a lot of thinking about what I can spend my time and mindset doing while sitting there, folding hand after hand and losing hand after hand. Your video is timely.
Alright, Ben! Tired of listening to talking heads " pontificating that Willie was 'one' of the best ever." He was unequivocally the best ever. As far as, home run production: look where he played, the Polo Grounds-Candlestick places not conducive to the long ball. So, it gave me great pleasure to hear you state that Willie was the best. Furthermore. the detractors might say, well what about his two years in Seals Stadium? I would say to that: that Bill Rigney had instructed him to bat for average and not home runs. And I say this, not as a Giant fan growing up, but a Cardinal fan, whose heart was broken so many times by the Murder's Row of Mays-McCovey and Cepeda. Even though, this is a statement to pay homage to Willie, I would be remiss not to mention those nasty Alou brothers, who contributed their own level of heartbreak to this young Cardinal fan.
Good playing with you today. This is the vlog I watched. I put in Peppermill knowing we were coming here. I guess I’ll watch more. Good luck next week. Oh by the way. Hopefully I be in the next blog. 👍
Mixed Game action at the Peppermill? I love hearing more different kinds of poker action is becoming available at the Peppermill. Too bad it's on a day that you can't play. Also great to hear Kayla's doing better. Keep that grind going! The good news is this June is almost over and July is a new month! Also that party limo action. 😁
Also having a bad month, but at least half of it is an inability to find folds. I'm taking the rest of the month off the felt. Here's to a better July for us both.
It's hard to be a consistent winner in a Reg heavy Room. I guessed AK when Turn was checked, but could just be the tone of your voice (which sounded froggy during intro). You really need to adjust your mindset with BP .. they are session savers, but also very tedious when your outs are on the other Board and/or you get HU on Flop and other Player goes nuts ($500 to win $80). Try 2-3 sessions where you just NEVER open and only play late positions except AA-TT. Players love value, but some sessions you just have to set the Nit Tone and just accept the pots when they all fold. I always tell the other Player to fold when asked .. you never lose when you have the last live hand before Showdown. Hard to gage an 8-hour session on 10-12 hands .. have you ever calculated your VPiP from your notes? GL
Dont want to tag you with a nickname during your run bad Ben. But Benpunts is an obvious one. Good luck in the future, love your vlogs. Keep grinding as I am having a Very bad first half of the year, so bad I cashed out my comps and Im taking a break
It looks like tou need to play lower stakes in the kiddy pool till you grow a bit. Seems here the water is way too deep for you my friend . You over think and under play....bad combo. Instinct and knowledge is what wins. Playing scared or with hesitation will not. 90% of the time your first gut instinct will be right. 10% against 90%....great odds.
Why would you shove when you have middle set and someone left to act? You scared him off. And then you fold with KK on that board? Questionable plays….
calling there would've given V great pot odds to call (4.2:1). Keeping someone cheaply in, is a dangerous move. Shoving is the right play. . Folding KK was a good move. Opp could easily have 2 pairs here (T9), or a set. Bluff is unlikely (not impossible, though); and IF there is a bluff that'd be a combo draw, like A9c (15 outs!). If he hits on river, there'll be HUGE implied odds to collect for him (as calling turn raise is a point of no return for KK). Toooo many hands to lose to, and tooo many out cards for the opp to draw a winning hand on river. Fold, and don't look back.
lol nobody with a clue thinks you bluff a lot, also lol at thinking that value betting that river with AJ was remotely thin, anyone competent would see that as the easiest value bet in the world

Watching your videos has helped my game as I cashed in the WSOP Salute to Veterans tourney! Finished 359 of 4217 players. Not to shabby!
So glad that Kayla is on the mend! ❤️
Go Kayla go.

Appreciate the shout out to Willie Mays - respect!
If every poker blogger was as honest as Deech I’d have more then One Poker Channel subscription.

2:45 I agreed with jamming flop here. (Set of 666). Calling would gave him him 4.2:1 odds to call. Which is great for any flush drawing hand.
Keep grinding, i watch all your vlogs.

Dan , please put a vlog up next week… you make my Monday’s simply better .
Wow that Kk fold was wild

Horrible run bad for me as well. Cashed out my comps and taking a break!!
Have faith. I know you will turn it around any day now.
Best wishes to you Kayla. Cool photo with Willie. GL next time Ben!
You have a large sample size of being a winning player. Downswings are just a part of the long game. Keep on keeping on.

It's all good buddy. Poker doesn't mean anything. You got a gorgeous girl and healthy son. Better off than 99% of poker players. 🙏👍
@@joyride1598 no way, I just meant he has a great life. That's not a knock on poker players
@@joyride1598 lol a 12 year old troll 🧌 . Keep trying buddy

Good fold with the pocket kks hand. You were beat.
I like Coors Light too!
I feel your pain!! Maybe time to take time off and reset!!
I believe he would have the all time HR record now. He finished with 660. Two more seasons would have been at least 50 to 60 more.
Great to see Kayla back where she belongs on the vlog
9:06 good fold (KK). "Read or yield", _(me)_ .
Hats off to Willie M.!
You need to mix up the venues, but since you really can't in that ghost town, you're stuck with the same stale games 😎
Downswings stink. Stay positive and take it one hand at a time.
Say hey Kid was a wonder
6:18 absolutely don't do that!!!
Willie Mays is no doubt the 🐐
3pm huh? like, when school lets out?
Willie could have been in Aaron range if he didn't miss 52-53. Notot Bonds range, but Hank range for sure.
You sound rough Ben, everything good
I enjoyed your Willie Mays story. He was truly one of the very best. Clemente was in his league, and not many others.
-$603 - those are rookie numbers lol. Shake it off, brother. Use your tight image and bluff more.

I walk on janky dealers often.
I think getting x/r on the turn with KK is 99%, never a bluff. Good fold.
Best mid session updates ever.
13:14 profit/hr -$723,600.00 What the heck is that? lol
I messed up the length of the session
#24 GOAT
BooHoo
Awesome but shove KK, c'mon
It’s a pretty safe bet to say that Willy Mays was the best player in baseball it’s hard to argue against it.
Joe is not even in the discussion, interesting
Who the he'll is Mr W??
A legend
You need to mix it up and play somewhere else.
Is the audio extremely low for just me?
This vlog is money!
I unsub'd after that K's hand bye
So wack!
Y does this dude constantly put out abc poker vlogs? He’s terrible and boring
Better question.. why you stalk him?
Ami first this time?

Dude called with pocket 4's...on that board.... and you have a losing streak?
sad.
Ben, I’d like to send you a 49ers large coin that may bring you a little luck 🍀. Can you provide a P.O. Box, or address to send it to?
