    A vintage dress that fit SO WELL, i couldn’t say no if i were you 😂 but your reasons are completely valid and true

      @GownEyedGirl  3 місяці тому +89

      It was actually too small, you can see on the back it doesn’t zip all the way. That also played a part in why I said no!

      I hardly noticed because this dress is just stunning on you!
      I’d love to know which bridal salons did you visit to shop vintage? 😊

    people decide bc of the designer? would have never guessed that the brand is important to them
    edit: i didn’t mean to be rude, i just stumbled upon this video and as someone who has never got married i was just surprised the brand or designer was an important factor when deciding on a dress. thank you for informing me about her working in the industry, i wasn’t aware and that makes so much sense

      She is a bridal stylist so she’s more familiar with wedding dress designers than a bride who works outside of the industry, that is probably why *edit for typo

    So dreamy! Which vintage shop is this? Dress shopping is so hard!! I’ve had 5 appointments at 4 different boutiques here in Austin and have not found the one. I’m broadening my search to other cities now… would love a breakdown of the different boutiques you visited!

    Okay but like why look at a dress from there if you know ur gonna say no just because you don't have personal attachment to the brand/owner/company?

    • @GownEyedGirl

    If I went by a brand that meant a lot to me that I had history with, I'd need to commission Betsey Johnson or Tripp NYC. LMAO, so sad tbh I'm pathetic. so I mean I get it, but I have no history or attachment to any gown designers though I wish I did to help me decide on something more easily.

  • @Freeman-sb8zz
    @Freeman-sb8zz 3 місяці тому +14

    I hope you understand that you saying no to that dress by stressing too much on how you do not "connect" with it might bring some damage to the brand since people generally do not go the no(ed) or let's say rejected products.

    • @cherrybeetree
      @cherrybeetree 3 місяці тому +7

      thats ridiculous lmao, if someone likes the dress theyre gonna buy it. why would her subjective opinion affect someones decision

    • @KaiOpaka
      @KaiOpaka 2 місяці тому

      I'm sorry but that's just not how fashion works. People looking at this will understand that it was just no connection between her and the brand and has nothing to do with their connection or lack thereof. That's not even counting how you may or may not connect with a wedding dress just because that's how wedding dress shopping goes. People aren't going to be put off of the dress if they like it.

    • @No-qb1qb

      It’s called being self sufficient with taste she can afford it she can vision it. Bridezilla is for the bullies use the term right

    • @sephinarose420
      @sephinarose420 3 місяці тому +18

      That's.. not what a bridezilla is.. its someone who's mean to people and demanding.. she's just dress shopping.. clearly, you're jealous.. stop putting that on her.

    • @KaiOpaka
      @KaiOpaka 2 місяці тому

      Having a point of view is not being a bridezilla. If she was too much of a pushover, people would criticize her for that because people just like criticizing women.
